After students complete their bachelor's degree, we take them in ISRO and then they get an opportunity to do the master's degree at appropriate time maybe two or three years later. We encourage them not only those who are coming from IIST, those who are joining from elsewhere we encourage them to do the master's degree and if they are very keen to do the doctoral degree we encourage them to do that also. There are a number of scientists and engineers who have done the masters and doctoral degree and they have contributed very well to the entire program.

Mains marks has nothing to do with this. JEE advance marks are considered for the admission in IIST.
Basically Advance question pattern is not fixes so i am considering previous year cutoffs with previous year pattern.
For general category you need a minimum of 35% in JEE advance to get Aerospace or Electronics and Communication.
If you are from ST category then you can get at 11% of jee advance.

Hi
If you are sure about going for space research, IIST is the obvious choice. You will get direct exposure to facilities like ISRO in your studies there. However, if you are not very clear about your field of specialisation, and want to go for research, I suggest you should pick IISc. It can provide a more multi-faceted experience to a student, and can help you narrow down to the field of your interest, in which you can later pursue higher education.
Hope this helps!
Hello!!!!
Hope you are doing great!!!!!!
you have got 96.74 score in JEE Mains and your percentile would be 94 percentile approximately. Your All India rank would be 52140 approximately using formula 100-94*869010/100 where 94 is your percentile and 869010 is the number of candidates who appeared for january session. With this rank, you can not get a seat in computer science under EWS category in NIT's.You may have to appear for July session for a better NIT.For checking the probabilities of colleges or NIT's , you can use our college predictor:
