Dear Aspirant,
IIST is the best option any day if you are aiming for aerospace engineering. It is undoubtedly one of the best institute for students aiming for any space related engineering. The focus of IITs and NITs is more on job and less on research and feeding curiosity in the students.
If you ever have a choice, then go for IIST if your aim is aerospace. However, if you shift to core branches then go for IITs as they are good in that.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Hi there aspirant! Hope you're having a great day.
I would like to inform you that IIEST Shibpur only accepts Gate scores from Physics, ECE,EEE, and engineering science so it will be impossible to get a seat for MS in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Better try for various other IIT's as they have ample opportunities. Hope this helps. Thank you.
