Gate score for iit's - 

Iit's cutoff for gate is the minimum score required for admission into mtech programmes across various iit's. Candidates who scored equal marks or more than cutoff of marks of gate iit's will be considered for admission into mtech programmes.

Admit card of the exam you appeared. i.e gate or jee main or jee advance admit card 

Rank card of the exam you appeared. i.e gate or jee main or jee advance Rank card

12 th marksheet 

12 th passing certificate 

Birth certificate

Category certificate

Counselling letter

Income certificate

IIST is not compulsory to join, DoS/ISRO provide job absorption in its establishments to the eligible B.Tech and DualDegree students of IIST, in the order of merit and only to the extent of vacancies notified for IIST absorption but It is not Guaranteed for all the eligible candidates.

There is no any direct way to become an Astronaut in India, Generally, Astronauts from India joined it through Indian Airforce. Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian citizen to travel in space joined first India Airforce and flew various Aircraft after that he was selected as a Astronaut.

If you are interested then you should definitely go for it because IIST thiruvanantapuram is a very good college.if you are interested then your decision is not bad.IIT CHENNAI is one of the best college in India as well as NIT Tirchi but I will prefer IIT Madras.

You can apply for gate 2019.There is no attempt and age problem in gate.You can appear when ever you want to.

Now coming to iist it takes admissuon through gate.

Admission to Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology is done on the basis of ranks in the JEE Advanced exam. The cutoff varies every year depending on various factors. I can provide you the previous year cutoff for reference and to have an idea about the rank required

For B.Tech Aerospace Engineering, the closing cutoff percentage was 34.17% for General Category and for B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering, the closing cutoff percentage was 33.05%.
