To get admission in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, you need to crack JEE Mains Exam. There is no min. marks for giving JEE Mains. You just need qualify Class 12th but for getting admission in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram after qualifying JEE Mains, you need to have 75% in your Class 12th Exam.

As per IIST B.Tech Category wise Eligibility Cutoff 2017, you need to score marks as mentioned below to be eligible to be considered for the admissions.

General (GEN)- 20%(Minimum Aggregate marks)

Other Backward Community- Non Creamy Layer OBC-NCL)- 18% (Minimum Aggregate marks)

Scheduled Caste(SC, Scheduled Tribe(ST) & Persons with Disabilities(PD)- 10% (Minimum Aggregate marks).

I think you should choose your favourite branch. After physics you will become teacher . I think you should go with DTU. Your branch is superb CSE and also college DTU is awesome.

NIT trichy is better than IIST. You know last year i prefer NIT JSR than IIEST because i know after 4 year degree of NIT will be more valuable.

For now concentrate on JEE itself… Because the admission to IIST is based on JEE Mains and Advanced itself. And see to it that you get appropriate percentage in class 12th which will ensure your eligibility for admission.

Don't lose hope if you didn't get college in the 1st round.

you have chances to get a seat in further rounds.so wait for other rounds and fill it.
