If I am a resident of Maharashtra and I want to do aeronautical engineering in Indian institute of space science and technology.

In order to take admission in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram you have to appear for JEE Advanced exam.

In order to appear for JEE Advanced exam you have to qualify JEE Main exam first.

What should I do to get into iist, can I get through it by clearing jee mains

Btech or Engineering course from IIST Thiruvanthapuram shall require JEE Advanced as Qualification exam for Admission in 2018 year,
as against Jee main and IIST exams conducted earlier.

For Admission in 2018, Candidate must have secured Minimum 20% marks in JEE Advanced which corresponding to 73/366 and atleast 6 marks out of 122 in all the three shbjects.

For OBC NCL candidates, at least 65/366 is required.

For SC/ST/PWD candidates, 36/366 is Minimum marks required.

The application form for Admission shall be tentatively available from third week of June 2018.
Candidates must have equally passed class 12th exam woth atleast 75% aggregate marks for General Category, for SC/ST a minimum of 65% aggregate is mandatory.

I am oc candidate .what is the cuttoff for a seat in iist

Admissions in IIST are done on the basis of Jee advanced and all aspirants must have secured 75% in 12th or equivalent examination boards. Also, the cut off varies year and program wise which you can check by going through the below link -

If I just qualify jeemain but in jeeadvance I have above 73 marks so I would eligible to aerospace engineering in iist

The closing ranks forthe opening rank is 335 and closing ranks is 4450 for Aerospace engineering at IIST Thiruvanthapuram.

Now , a score of 73 shall be corresponding to ranks above 1,00,000 which makes it very difficult to get through Aerospace engineering.

You also need to qualify for JEE Majns, since Admission shall be taken on basis of JEE Advanced.

You would need anything above 230 and uptp 260 as score to get through Aerospace engineering at IIST Thiruvanthapuram.

What is the eligibility criteria for ICT AND IIST for B Tech?

The admissions in ICT will be done on the basis of MHTCET rank as officials have provided below mentioned details -

"UG ADMISSIONS WILL BE DONE BY DTE FOR ALL THE FOLLOWING ICT COURSES IN CENTRALIZED ADMISSION PROCESS (CAP). PLEASE REFER DTE’S ADMISSION BROUCHURE AND WEBSITE www.dte.org.in B.Chem.Engg. & B.Tech. How many students get admission every year in IIST for B.Tech program in aerospace engineering

There are total 60 number of seats in IIST for B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering.

There is reservation of seats as well

SC-15%

ST- 7.5%

OBC-NCL-27%

PD- 3% (Horizontal Reservation)

What are the criterias for entering into iist trivandrum? and does counseling will be conducted on the basis of jee main score or jee adv?

It takes admission through JEE Advanced rank.

You have to qualify for JEE Main exam first in order to be eligible for JEE Advanced exam.

How to get a seat in IIST Kerala..??

The admission in B.Tech program in IIST will be done on the basis of Jee advanced score as this is the only way to get seat there. Also, tentatively the application window will open in the month of June as the exact dates are not yet released.

To get seat in aerospace engineering btech in IIST college Thiruvananthapuram What is the requirement?

In order to take admission in IIST college for aerospace engineering you have to appear for JEE Advanced exam.

In order to appear for JEE Advanced exam you have to qualify JEE Main exam first.

Total seats for B.tech Aerospace egineering is 60.

In order to take admission in this college you must have 75% aggregate marks in your 12th class. For SC/ST/PD 65% marks are required.

You have to take the aggregate marks of P/C/M, Language and any other optional subject.

College infrastructure is very nice they still providing good libraries and food WiFi with internet.Ac classrooms will be there in college.sports facility will be there Indoor and outdoor games with be there in campus

College Infrastructure

The college is a well equipped one in terms of necessary infrastructure of the academic and non-academic domains of its body. The academic body is having a big tech based central library, well equipped laboratories of different fields. The lecture halls are big, smart tech based. The whole campus is served with a super fast WIFI services. Hostels are big and well maintained. There is a central gym, sports court, recreation hall, amphitheater, basket ball court, cricket ground as part of sports.
