You can check below the tentative dates of a phd program of various IIT's

IIT DELHI-2nd week of march

IIT KANPUR-16 march online application start date and 24 online application end date

IIT BHU-24 march starting date of registration  and 20th May end date of registration

IIT ROORKEE-2nd week of march and 1st week of April is end of registration

IIT Guwahti-data not available or registration may be started or start in April month

IIT KHARAGPUR-application forms will be available in April month and end month of registration is June

As far as FMS is concerned there is no chance to get a call from this as the sectional cut off is very high according to your score.

But you can accept a call from iit kgp,madras and delhi too.  Even nitie is not possible to crack because of your file sectional cut off because it is 80 percentile for each subject.

Admission in Indian Institute of Technology IIT is on the basis of JEE advanced examination for undergraduate engineering courses

To be eligible for JEE advanced you need to clear JEE Mains examination first.

So for getting admission in IIT or joining IITs you need to clear JEE main first and then JEE advanced , the eligibility criteria for both the examination is given below:-

JEE MAINS

Eligibility criteria says that to be eligible for JEE mains 2021 for BE or Btech you just must be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent in 2021 or should have passed it in 2020 or 2019 with Physics, mathematics and anyone of Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.

You can give JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for your 12th examination

JEE ADVANCED

To be eligible you must qualify JEE mains and also need to pass your class 12th with at least 75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least 65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or must be in the top 20 percentile in class 12 examination. For this year i. e 2021 this percentage requirement in class 12th has been lifted off

You can give JEE advanced examination for consecutive 2 years starting from the year of appearing for your 12th examination

If you manage to qualify JEE advanced then you can get admission in IIT on the basis of rank obtained by you in jee advanced examination by participating in jossa counselling

See IITs takes admission for their B.Tech course on the basis of score of JEE-Advance not JEE-Mains but yes one need to qualify JEE-Mains to sit for JEE-Advance and the expected qualifying cut-offs for JEE-Main 2021 are described below :-

  • Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
  • GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
  • PwD - 1-2 Percentile

As per your category and percentile in CAT and after considering all the academic factors you have very less chances to get seat in SJMSOM, IIT Bombay or IIT Delhi because cut-offs for them generally variates around 98-99 percentile and for SC category it generally variates around 92-93 percentile in CAT but  some of the B-Schools for MBA/PGDM which you can get on such CAT percentile are enlisted below :-

See it is quite difficult to tell you about exact marks to score because for JEE-Advance no maximum marks are fixed but yes with regards to JEE-Advance 2021 if you secure your ST category rank in JEE-Advance under top 180 then there are good chances for you to get Mechanical branch in IIT Delhi.

Time matters but concentration matters more.If you can pursue hard work and concentration level for the 18th months then you can surely succeed.Cracking JEE advanced lies in understanding the fundamentals along with practising lots of numericals and previous years paper to understand the pattern.So study hard and you will surely succeed.Practise lots of maths since the maximum number of marks you can score from that part.

Assuming you are from General Category to secure a seat in Civil Engineering M.Tech at IIT Delhi, the cutoffs in GATE CE for various M.Tech specializations are as follows

Structural : 820

Water resources : 675
