Well the college have all the necessasry things but getting more facilities and better equipments would be much better i mean many of the equipments doesnt work. The college is small in size and doesnt have any space for curricilar activites.
I am studying mechanical and the teachers are fine actually the enthusiasm to teach is not that much and well some teachers are amazing anf are very prepared for all of ur questions and doubts. The new system cbcs is amazing but i hate relative grading which is negative point with the system.
The placement is actually pretty amazing i have to say this and the rate is also amazing also for some companies people from different branches can sit in any companies placement test for ex last time google let people from all the departments to apply for it.
My fees gor two sem is 85000 and its not the worth i mean the facilities and with all the things i think we could have a better environment to live in.
Campus life is amazing if u have friends to help u get through this four or five year journey also these people really need to do something the monkey situation i mean there are a hell lot of them there.
The classrooms are pretty well maintained. Projectors are fitted in classrooms. They are spacious as well. The main ground is a good place to spend time reading books. But the condition of washrooms are not good. They are clogged sometimes
The professors of the college are helpful and are willing to help students whenever students need their help. But there are a lot of exams per semester that a student gives -2 minors and 1 major exam.
The placements are really good. Almost all students get placed in good and reputed companies . The clg faculty helps students secure a good placement. The placement cell of college is quite good in doing its job.
Overall the clg is good
Quite good
The college has good infrastructure and facilities. The classrooms are clean, tidy and airy with comfortable arrangements of sitting. The libraries are well equipped by all necessary books of all streams. The hostels are also well maintained. The food is also hygenic and full with nutrients.
I am studying BBA for a career in management field in future. The quality of teaching is very good. All the teachers are very supportive and help students clear their doubts as soon as possible. The BBA curriculum is up to date and the study surely makes me job-ready.
The college has good quality of placements every year. Almost 90% of students get placement including companies like Walmart, Flipkart, Google, Microsoft, Uber and lot more. I believe that the college is supportive and guides in circumstances.
The cost of course is ₹70000 and with each year it increases with ₹7000. The course duration is of e years. I feel that l am getting worth of my money and the result of this money will be shown at the time of placements.
Students are engaged in activities like dramatic, singing, social activities and many more.
The Campus building is a bit old and was originally the heritage part of DTU campus. This is not due to the lack of funds but simply due to the lack of space as it is located in the Old delhi region and there is scarcely any space to expand the premises. Although the university is equipped with all general facilities. The classrooms are spacious enough with smart boards and labs, libraries, sports centres are fully functional. Wifi is available for all the university students.
The syllabus is well planned and structured. Due to the recent CBCS system, now students have to appear for one minor(mid sem)and one major(end sem) exams. Earlier there used to be 2 minors along with majors. The faculty is quite knowledgeable. Most of the teaching staff is from reputed colleges like IITs, NITs and DTU.
The placements are undoubtedly the bestest part of the university. Year by year top level tech companies visit the campus for placements and have hired most of the appearing students offering them with quite respectable salary packages. The highest package offered was 40 lacs for CSE. Almost all of the students get placed. Average salary is around 11 lacs. The placement scenario of the university has been remarkable and is what hàs placed IGDTUW higher in the companies list for placements.
For B.Tech the annual fees is approximately 1lac which is absolutely value for money as the jobs that are offered to the students are quite noble and satisfactory.
Igdtuwites enjoy quite a good campus life outside the campus, lol. This is because the university is located in the heart of the old Delhi. Quite vicinity to local markets, cafes, restaurants, historical places is one of the best parts of an igdtuwites life. The teachers and the staff are quite supportive and helpful. They adhere to students problems and issues and revert back with helpful solutions. The seniors in general are kind and generous when it comes to helping their juniors.
If you wish to study in a government college, then no doubt IGDTUW can work as the best option for you if you ruined your chance into getting into an IIT or a top NIT. In terms of placements the university has shown tremendous hike since a few years.
The infrastructure is really good. But now a days it is under going some construction and renovation. The blocks are well ventilated and the campus area is large. It has kasmiri gate metro station nearby. It has a large auditorium which looks like it is designed in British era. The library is not that good but you get most of the books their also you can get notes photostate in the campus itself. The campus has free wifi connection.
I am studying Computer science in this college and is a third year student it's because I find it interesting also igdtu is comparable to other universities such as dtu and nsit. Faculty can have very depth knowledge of the subjects. Some faculties are not that good I guess but that is comparable. The curriculum is not updated since years. And soo it need some improvement to get compared to syllabus of IITs. They teach us every basic thing need to get a good job.
The quality of placement is good as compared to private colleges. If we talk of batch of 2019, 25 companies visited campus which selected around 349 students from the campus. The highest package was 16 LPA and average was around 6 LPA for B.tech. The highest package was grabbed by an IT student. The placement process is good and go through every field also the college and placement coordinator is supportive.
Yaa it is a value for money college. The yearly fees is about 1 lakh which is less than any private institute it doesn't comprise of hostel fees which add up another 50000. As the placement is good but not comparable to dtu soo it's not that good but value for money.
The college campus is lush green. It has maney spots to hangout at. The canteen maybe a problem as it is small and the food quality is not that good. Their is this jail type of structure. Soo all in all the campus is amazing. The teachers here are supportive and helpyou whenever you want. The campus is near kashmiri gate and soo it's at a safe place.
My 3 years of college has been amazing in this campus. We have seen many fests and many dj nights. College days are always best and my college made them remembering.
The infrastructure of ou college is good. The campus is very old considering the fact that DCE and NSIT used the same campus before their current one. But,the infrastructure has been under construction and the labs and the classroom are built according to the current needs. The living space is clean and also food is hygienic.
I'm studying in CS btech 2nd year and i come here by the qualifying mains exam. The teaching staff are good and knowledgeable. They are helpful and the most important thing that the ratio of student to faculty is good. The course curriculum is good but the industry exposure provided not much
The college achieves 100% placements every year.Every year, many companies visit our college and it is increasing every year. The highest package offered was 39.5lac in the year 2019 and the lowest package was 5lac.The 25% students also got intern.
The value for money is around 95000 per year and can afford by students .I'm very happy that my money worth is good for making my future.
The college has an amazing fest called Jaitaarangana .Our college is loacted in new Delhi. We have best seniors which was very helpful in nature.
We have a lot of societies and they teach you what you need to learn and survive in any condition. Our fest consider as the one of the best fest in delhi and celebrities like Zakir khan, shirley performed here.
IGDTUW comprises four main academic buildings and 2 hostels. The labs are functional and well-equipped.The classrooms are big, although in summers it becomes really difficult to concentrate on the studies if you are not lucky enough to get the seat directly under the fan. There is a big ground wherein you can sit and enjoy the sun in winters.
The academics syllabus has been changed with the inculaction of CBCS system from 2019 and it is extremely informative and resourcefull. I'm studying btech from information and technology and teaching facily is good. Teachers are really experienced and always happy to help regarding any field.
Placements of IGDTUW are getting better year by year and almost all big companies come for recruitment of cs/it engineers. Almost all the students are placed from the campus itself and that too with a good package.
The fee structure is satisfactory and we are provided with ample resources according to the fee we pay.
There are multiple fests and amazing canteens and the seniors are extremely helpful too if you know who to ask what.
Library is good, wifi-great, labs all good, a big football ground, a gym, TT, basketball ground, badminton, clean and big classrooms. The canteens are good. Hostel rooms are limited but are clean and hostel food menu is great..!
I'm studying MAE, faculty us great at their work, experienced PhD scholars sharing knowledge. As the curriculum has been changed to CBCS, we get enough time to focus on each subject on course and subjects like coding (if not from IT&CSE).
They're getting better and better for IT & CSE. In 2018, highest package was 40 lpa (ctc). For MAE, it's pretty good with a record of 100% placement. All depends on your marks, knowledge, and your personality.
Fee we pay is very much less than a lot of prestigious institutions (dtu). Yet we get a lot of facilities within this fee structure. Training worth 15-20k in market is provided for just 2-3k.
A lot of fests take place at college- tech fest, diwali fete, cultural fest, sports fest. Also winter sunshine in the football ground gives complete feel of college life. It just doesn't feel awkward to be just amongst girls, rather it really gives a comfort and brings out the real you.
The Infrastructure of IGDTUW is better as compared with colleges of IP University but the classrooms are not air conditioned. The classrooms have a capacity of seating students in the range 80-120. IGDTUW has properly facilitated seminar halls and an auditorium. The campus is not as large as one would expect to be of a university but it surely is a treat to those who are lazy! IGDTUW has two canteens and both of them offer a variety of tasty and hygienic and pocket friendly food.
With the adaptation of CBCS Programme in all the branches starting from 2019, the academics have improved to a great level. Faculties are extremely helpful here, the examinations conducted are at a medium difficulty level and if you study properly for a week, it isn't difficult to score good marks. Being in the IT department, studying PCM again in the first year is a tad bit boring but it gives you time hone your coding skills and be ready for the coming years.
The placements of IGDTUW are satisfactory and are improving every year. Big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Goldman Sachs, Uber etc. pick interns and full time employees from here every year. It has been made mandatory in the CBCS mode to do an internship in the 3rd, 5th and the 7th semester and the university is offering ample resources to the students for their aid in getting one. The Training and Placement Cell of IGDTUW is extremely resourceful and helping.
For the first year, the fee was 95000 rupees. Yes, this is value for money as the resources that we are being provided with are of extremely good quality.
In addition to spending your winters in the big ground with all kinds of animals, IGDTUW also has two amazing and very popular fests, the techfest INNERVE and the cultural fest TAARANGANA. The seniors here are helpful. We have multiple cultural, Literary and technical societies for which the seniors would come during the first week and tell you about it. In short, life here isn't going to be as bad for those who haven't studied in a women's school yet. It will be a surprising yet an amazing ride
The college building was established in 1998 and has only been repaired but never upgraded. There is only one canteen that too which is shared with Ambedkar College. There are many monkeys and cats which roam around freely in the campus and have caused many cases of rabies injections
The course syllabus is a little outdated especially if you already have had Computer Science in your Senior Secondary and your Bachelor's . You are made to do C Programming language even in Masters 1st Year.
This institute is renowned for it's amazing B.Tech placements , The package can go as high as 40 LPA but when it comes to Masters Of Computer Application the highest the company offers is only 14 LPA and there is a lot of preference given to B.Tech students
The course has a nominal fee as it is a Government College which is a major plus point , The Masters of Computer Application Course costs Rs 75000 per year over the time of 3 years and this seems as value for money.
The campus life here at IGDTUW is great. There are a lot of societies that one can participate in from cultural to technical. We have 2 annual fests : 1 Technical that is Innerve and 1 Cultural called Taarangana. Many famous celebritirs come and perform like Zakhir Khan , Darshan raval etc

Hello Aspirant,
If you have got 57 percentage in boards in your 12th then you are not eligible to get into NITs/IITs as the minimum percentage that you need to secure is 75% and not below that.
However you can take admission in igdtuw through joint admission counseling along with NSUT(Netaji Subash University Technology, DTU(Delhi Technological University) and few more colleges.
But the cut offs depends on certain factors such as number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous year cutoffs and difficulty level of the paper.
Hey,
For admission IGDTUW, Delhi, DTU and NSUT, you need to attempt JEE Mains examination and as per the revised JEE Main eligibility criteria 2022, 75% of criteria is removed. For NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs Admission, Candidates just need to pass class 12 irrespective of percentage. So u just need to pass class 12th from science background and their is no any such requirement of Computer as a subject for attempting JEE Mains.
Admission there will be based on the rank obtained in JEE Mains.
Hope this information helps you.
