UPES B.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked #42 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest CTC 50 LPA , 100% Placements
Hello Aspirant,
On such OBC rank you have no chances to get any of the NITs or IIITs or GFTIs under Other state quota for any of the branches as the OBC rank closes around 20-22k for GFTIs and around 12-17k for NITs. You can get an idea from previous year's closing ranks available on the official website :-
https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx
But you can go for some other private or state government colleges that are discussed below.
So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India on the basis of your JEE-Main 2022 result :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Note that the prediction has been made on the basis of latest cut-offs available and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 88.4121383 percentile
==>> GEN-EWS - 63.1114141 Percentile
==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 67.0090297 Percentile

Hello Aspirant,
With this rank it is difficult for you to get admission to IIITs.
Cutoff varies every year depending on various factors. Keep in mind that your chances to get a seat will depend on the following basis:
Number of seats available
Number of students applied for the same branch
Performance of the students
The category you belong to etc.
You can go for JOSAA and CSAB counselling. Also, you can apply for central University. There you will get more advantages to get colleges.

Hello,
IIT Allahabad is considered exceptionally good when it comes to exposure. It provides a lot of exposure to the student. It is also really good in terms of academics, infrastructure and placements. They have a great coding culture and also provide great facilities. The staff members are well educated. There is a huge ground for sports. There are WiFi facilities here along with other facilities.
There is definitely a workload when it comes IIITs. If you want to pursue something great in life then you have to manage and put efforts. The workload might seem a bit too much right now but later you will be grateful for it.
I hope this helps,
All the best
Hi Sunkara,
with JEE Mains Rank 14137in EWS category your selection in IIIt or NIT in CSE are not possible.
This is so because in these top most institutes, competition is very high and with this rank, CSE branch is not possible...
But you can try for other branches as wells as in other engineering colleges during counselling or else give your best in JEE Advanced so that you can easily grab a seat in one of the best engineering colleges..
You can check previous year cut off from link below

Hello,
It is very difficult to get the non core branches in NIT /IIIT / GFTIs because the cut offs are way higher. But if you home state belongs to one of these NITs then it is quite possible that you may get ece branch. The NITs like Mizoram, Manipur, Uttarakhand, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Srinagar are much available in this rank.
But if not then i would suggest you to go for GFTIs like BIT Mesra, Assam University, Kongri Vishwavidyalaya.
If you want to check out the colleges you can get, you can check out the link given below -
