Both BIT Sindri and SLIET, Punjab, are equally same when it comes to infrastructure. They both have huge libraries, laboratories, cafeteria, Wi-Fi enabled campus, gym, etc,.

On the basis of placements, BIT is a bit more efficient than that of SLIET. The median salary of the former is Rs. 5 lakhs/year and the former's median salary is Rs. 3 lakhs/year.

The both being equal number of IT based companies such as Infosys, CTS, TCS, Wipro, IBM, Tech Mahindra, etc,. These 2 Colleges are very much helpful for CSC and IT departments since they bring many IT Companies for recruitment. BIT sindri Punjab is located in in Dhanbad Jharkhand also government institute of technology.

BIT sindri per BIT sindri Jharkhand established in 1969 1969 which is one of the oldest Engineering College of India.

Respect of education beats sindri is is a little bit of better than longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology Sangrur district Punjab.

In respect of placement beats Sindhi Dhanbad Jharkhand is better than longowal Institute of Engineering Technology Punjab.

From BIT sindri Dhanbad Jharkhand in the year of 2019 ,381 pass out  student  has been got placement in different renowned MNCs. Average salary of placement is 5.60 lacs per annum and the highest salary packages 10.1 locks per annum for BE passout student. Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology ( SLIET ) is a deemed university in  Punjab, India. Many courses are here. The total fees for CSE course is around 2.33 lakhs for the whole course. Placements in CSE are good. Most of the students get placed in CS. It is more than 95% . The average salary package offered is about 3.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 8 LPA.

There are many courses here in many programs like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MSc . All are good.

Considering your home state is Uttrakhand i would surely recommend you to take gbpu Pantnagar as the parallel college which you got in Punjab doesn't stand out of the box in comparison to this college.

You haven't mention the exam name, In which exam you got this Good rank. Without knowing the exam name it is quite difficult to tell that you get CS in SLIET, PUNJAB.

If you are talking about JEE Mains, you have Good chance to get seat in SLIET Punjab with CS branch. The ews cutoff for Punjab state in 2020 is 70.2435518 percentile. So at this rank you have Good chances to get seat in SLIET PUNJAB.
