SLIET Facilities
A number of facilities are being provided to all students, staff members and faculty members at SLIET Longowal. Some of the SLIET Longowal facilities include hostel facilities, sports facilities, lab facilities, faculty facilities and many others as provided by the institute. All the amenities and the essential services provided by SLIET Longowal are state of art architecture and ambience. SLIET Longowal facilities which can be availed by the students are the library which is spacious and provided with all the needed books, cafeteria which caters to the needs of the students, auditorium, gym, transport facilities and many others at students disposal. - Boys Hostel
Good accommodation is provided to the students at the campus premises of SLIET Longowal. All the essential services at campus can be availed by the students. A set of procedures is followed in the way– 1 Hostel for PG students, 2 single-seater hostels for pre-final and final degree students, 5 three-seaters for students for diploma and certificate, 1 three-seater for first-year students.
- Girls Hostel
Students can have state of art ambience at the campus premises where students are provided with good facilities and accommodation during their tenure of studies. There are 4 girls' hostels at SLIET Longowal which are well-furnished and provided with cable TV.
- Sports
This institute provides sports facilities for all its students, staff and faculty members. SLIET Longowal inculcates the students to participate in sports. The campus is also provided with a swimming pool for the students which is well maintained.
- Laboratories
Students at SLIET Longowal are provided with departmental laboratories for the students to have practical experience in the subject. The latest equipment and technology aid in students learning at the well-equipped labs for various subjects.
- Auditorium
The auditorium is air-conditioned at SLIET Longowal and is admirable with decent seating capacity and with state-of-the-art architecture. Frequently seminars and conferences are conducted there for the students. Wifi facility is provided for all of its Students, staff and faculty members.
- Banks/ATMs
SLIET Longowal is provided with a banking facility and ATM centre at the campus. SLIET Longowal is provided with a convenience store at the campus for the students to make it possible for them to get all the things which they require.
- Medical/Hospital
SLIENT Healthcare is the medical facility provided by the SLIET Longowal authority for the students, staff and faculty members. The campus is provided with a dispensary and a medical officer for emergency consultation. SLIET Longowal is also provided with paramedical staff, chairman and counsellors.
- Library
SLIET Longowal is provided with a central library with many numerous editions of technical books and in addition to that there are many general awareness books on moral sciences and literature. SLIET Longowal library is also provided with journals and newspapers.
- Gym
This institute is provided with Gym facilities and with modern equipment for all the students to remain fit during their tenure of study. Students at SLIET Longowal can have access to the gym and its equipment by having a subscription.

The infrastructure here is above average. The buildings are modern, and the classrooms are equipped with the latest technology. The library is well-stocked, but the sports facilities are somewhat lacking. Overall, a good environment for academics.

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is impressive, with spacious lecture halls and well-maintained labs. The library is extensive, offering a quiet place for study. However, the Wi-Fi connectivity can be spotty at times. The campus overall is aesthetically pleasing.

College Infrastructure
The college boasts a state-of-the-art infrastructure. The laboratories are modern, and the library offers a vast collection of books and journals. The sports facilities are decent, although more indoor sports options would enhance student life.

For lateral entry in SLIET, admission can be taken after completing a diploma course. For lateral entry, no exam is required . However, as per the admission policy, admission is given through vertical promotion.
Eligibility criteria for admission through lateral entry:
- After 10th class one has to do diploma course.
- The diploma course should be in engineering specialization.
- After completing the diploma course, admission can be taken in B.Tech through lateral entry.
- Students taking admission through lateral entry get the opportunity to study directly in the second year of engineering.

For lateral entry admission at SLIET (Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology),
what you do is,
Exam for Lateral Entry Admission, you need to appear for the SET (SLIET Entrance Test). The specific exam for lateral entry into B.Tech is called SET-III, SET-III: This is for diploma holders seeking direct admission into the 2nd year of B.Tech
Eligibility Criteria, You must have a Diploma in Engineering from an AICTE-approved institution.
A minimum percentage of 50%-55% is required in the diploma. For reserved categories (SC/ST), there is a relaxation in the percentage.

Unfortunately the answer to your question is no as Admissions in Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology is based on JEE exams as well as SLIET CET.
