IIIT Guwahati Placement Process
Companies receive invitations from the Placement Cell of IIIT Guwahati.
Companies fill out a CRF (Company Registration Form) with information about the job offer, including the salary range, anticipated work location, and any additional bonuses. Students can access the CRF and all of the information provided by the companies online.
Based on the information provided by the company, the IIIT Guwahati Placement Cell assigns dates for campus interviews to companies.
The Placement Office verifies the dates with the companies. The students are then sent these dates.
The forms must be registered by interested students who display interest in participating in the company's recruitment process.
The resumes of students who are interested are given to companies.
On the designated date or dates, companies visit the school to administer tests and/or do interviews in compliance with their hiring procedures.
The final student list is provided by the company/organisation, ideally on the day of the interview.
To guarantee that the chosen students get to the business or organisation as soon as possible, the IIIT Guwahati Placement Office also arranges the offer letters to be signed by the chosen students.

the overall package was average in this campus as it was under vtu before, like 2 years before. the placement is not good but other side for non core brunches like IT , CSE it's good . Average placement is 3-4 lakh/ annual.

Almost 90% of the students were placed in ECE. The highest and the lowest package being around 16LPA and 4LPA respectively. Companies like Samsung and L&T were the top recruiters . Internships were average and around 70% of the students got it. The top role offered was a software developer.

Dear candidate,
You should anytime go for NSUT EE as there are many factors. Its in delhi and all major companies will get attracted to this college first. Comparing its placements from your other mention colleges, its is very good plus your a getting a great college life which gets it an edge over any other colleges.

IIITG does not offer any scholarships for st students or for that matter any category students or even on the basis of the income also but yes you can apply for scholarships that various state governments give from there side also if you are unable to pay your fee the institute will help you to get loans from PSU banks but yes from the institute side there are no scholarships on any basis
