Indian Maritime University, Kolkata Campus Admission Process

The Indian Maritime University Kolkata Campus offers 3 degrees and 6 courses. The IMU Kolkata admissions include BE./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, and M.B.A courses. Before applying for IMU Kolkata admissions under the Management And Business Administration stream, the candidate must appear for the IMU CET entrance examination. Admission to the IMU Kolkata Campus UG courses is done through scores received in either their past academics and the scores in the entrance exams. The admissions to the IMU Kolkata PG courses are based on the scores that are secured in the entrance examination with UG scores. Only the eligible candidates may be considered for application to the IMU Kolkata admission for the desired course.

IMU-KC Admissions

The institute offers diploma courses in marine engineering. The duration of IMU Kolkata UG courses is 4 years.

IMU Kolkata UG Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech	246	The candidate should have passed 10+2/equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths with a minimum of 50% marks in English either in the 10th or 12th examination

IMU-KC B.Tech Admission Procedure

The ones applying must be not more than 25 years of age, and unmarried.
The students will have to sit for the IMU CET exam in an online mode.
Final admission into the IMU-KC B.Tech course is subject to the score obtained in IMU’s CET entrance examination.

IMU-KC PG Admissions

The college provides postgraduate programmes that include a master's in mechanical engineering, and a master's in management, and business administration. Both the IMU-KC PG courses have a duration of 2 years.

IMU-KC PG Eligibility Criteria: M.Tech/MBA

M.E/M.Tech	20	Candidates should have a minimum of 50% in Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with IMU CET exam score
MBA	15	A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50%+ minimum of 50% marks in English + IMU CET examination score

IMU-KC PG Admission Procedure: M.Tech/MBA

Eligible candidates will have to take the IMU CET exam in an online mode.
Admissions shall be based on IMU CET entrance exam scores and past academic performance.

Proof of Age - Birth Certificate/SSLC or equivalent mark sheet
Higher Secondary School or Equivalent mark sheet and passing certificate.
Community Certificate [only for ST, SC, and OBC-(NCL) Or Parent’s Income certificate for the economically backward class
IMU’S CET Rank Certificate
Provisional letter of seat allotment
Passport Original with Xerox copy of both the 1st and last pages
Medical fitness by Doctors approved by the Director General of Shipping
8 No passport-size photographs
Xerox of Aadhar Card
Letter of Indemnity (on Rs.100/- Non-Judicial stamp paper as per the enclosed proforma)

I am Studying B.Tech Marine Engineering. Teaching Is Quite Avarage Just Like any Other college. Syllabus is Quite Vast with Less Time To Prepare. College Building is Full ac With Comfortable seats . Smart Boards Are also there is Classrooms.

The college's main degree is BTech. Marine Engineering. Getting this degree helps the cadets to work on commercial ships while while they sail across the world. the job of a Marine Engineer is to maintain the ship's machinery, from main engines to a refrigerator on board. The college has only officers to teach the core subjects, most of them who had studied this college themselves and achieved wonders. The curriculum is sufficient to make a good marine engineer, along with the training.
