UPES B.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked #42 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest CTC 50 LPA , 100% Placements
The exact placement scenarios can only be provided by the college and what others do is just speculate some colleges do not reveal their placements do their own reasons but talking about dtu the placement here is great in the cse related branches and many tech giants visiting here offer hefty packages but on the other hand core placements are not that good and most core students practice coding to get into tech companies overall the coding atmosphere at dtu is great which will improve your coding skills ultimately resulting in good placements since you are interested in cs,it,se only.
There are two things in this scenario if you take a lower tier college with cse then no matter how much you work hard you will not get a very good placements as companies providing high packages will either not come or they will not give high packages even if they come on the other hand since EP is a core field department so like in all other core fields syllabus is vast and you may not get time to code but here you should prefer dtu for two reasons first is the tag yo will get by joining the college moreover if you are willing to code then you will find time somehow or the other, moreover here the coding culture is great that will help you in coding but the only problem you might face is that some companies do not allow Ep students to sit in their placements(tech companies) so choose wisely but you can always go for off campus placements.
Assuming that you are from delhi itself so you can almost get any branch which you like in dtu ,nsut ,iiitd provided you have given your crl rank in the question so firstly choosing the college- you should go with either dtu , nsut as both are almost the same though due to more number of students in dtu competition is more so you will have to decide which college in the two you should join , now coming to the branch so it depends whether you are a coding enthusiast or a person interested in core if in coding go ahead with computer science and other branches related to it like software engineering and information technology etc. if you are a core person then decide which core sector excites you most like electrical, mechanical ,chemical ,civil ,physics etc and go ahead with your choice , talking about placements core placements are not that lucrative here in these colleges and for that matter in any college so you can even practice coding if you want a good package but want to pursue a core field otherwise cse placements are great in both nsut, dtu.
Here mce at dtu is going to be a great choice in my opinion because of 2 reasons firstly because of the tag of dtu which in itself is a tag many people dream of having also it has the advantage of having a location base in delhi , the second reason is that mathematics and computing is a good branch and many tech companies hire such students also there is good coding culture in dtu which will improve your coding skills and you will get good placements if you work hard on the other hand these advantages may not be there in iiest although it is also a good college.
Hello
DTU also has a strong chemical section. Around 70-80 percent of students were placed in the previous session. The costliest Package cost approximately 16 LPA, the lowest around 4.5 LPA, and the average cost around 7 LPA. Maruti Suzuki, IOCL, and other firms were among the top recruiters.
Engineering physics placement is extremely difficult because most key businesses will not let you to sit, and those that do will give you a difficult time deciding. You will have plenty of options at non-tech firms, but you didn't select physics to work for a non-tech company.
When it comes to MAM's placement, it's not ideal; few firms come to visit the school. However, when it comes to DTU's location, it's excellent. While studying MAM, you may prepare for placement examinations for the Big Four consulting companies or other CS and IT jobs that are available to everyone.

It seems to me aa if you have not mentioned your category so I am assuming it to be general.Since DTU M.Tech 2019 cutoff has not been released yet, candidates can refer to previous years cutoff to get an estimate of probable cutoff for the current year. The gate score is generally above 620 every year.
Please refer to the following link for more details.

Good luck.
Hello
Delhi Technological University is one of the most prestigious colleges included in the jk pmsss. This is the option chosen by the majority of top 12th grade students. According to my experience, you should be among the top 15 students in your class. Jk pmsss has a high level of transparency. The selection process is entirely merit-based. As a result, your odds of being able to acquire a seat are quite slim. To gain seats through PMSSS, your 12th grade scores must be quite high. The AICTE will pay the college and hostel costs in this situation, which you may already be aware of.

Hello
Let me tell you one thing: a student applying to DTU under the DEFENCE QUOTA should be very lucky because the number of seats available under this quota is quite limited. Furthermore, as an out-of-town student, your prospects of receiving a seat are quite slim.
If you don't acquire a seat through defensive quota, it indicates that all of the reserved seats in that category are taken.
So, if no students from the general category are present but seats are available in the general category, you will be evaluated and may be offered a seat.

Hello
According to the qualification standards, a candidate must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% in boards to be eligible for BBA at DTU. You are qualified for admission to DTU since your percentage is greater than that. Now that you've asked if you'll be awarded a seat, I can tell you that according to the previous year's merit list for BBA at DTU, only candidates with percentages more than 90% were offered a place. As a result, this year's cutoffs will almost certainly climb, and your chances of getting a seat are exceedingly limited.
I hope you find this information helpful.
Hello
You must input your best four subjects' grades and then check out for the list. To summarise, if you are from the general category and live in Delhi with no subcategories, you have very little chance right now, but if you are from the defence category and live in Delhi, you have a good chance, since the cut-off for that is quite low (78). The unreserved category has a shot at it as well. If you are a candidate from outside of Delhi, the qualifications are nearly the same.
So, in conclusion, if you are from a reserved category, you have a 100 percent probability, but if you are from an unreserved category with no subcategory, you have a little lower chance. The remainder is dependent on subsequent admissions, which can be unpredictable at times at DU.
