Hello,

Please check the cut off in 2020 for JAC round 5 counselling for general category to get admission in Mechanical Engineering

  • DTU: 40880
  • NSUT: 50277

It is difficult to predict the exact percentile or score. Because the marks vs rank vs percentile trends changes every year depending on total number of candidates appeared, highest score, tie breakers etc.

Based on rank predictor tool which works as per previous year data you need to score 97-98 percentile to score a rank within 50,000. And to score such percentile your ideal score must be minimum 150-190 marks or above in JEE main. This is an estimated score.

Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on factors like number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.

We have JEE Main knockout package. If you want to prepare for JEE Main upcoming sessions you can check the details and enroll

Hi

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

Your profile suggests that you are from Delhi so you will be eligible for Delhi region reservation for admission in DTU

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 9 of JAC counselling 2020 ,  6,24,165 was the closing crl rank for obc category for Delhi region in DTU and it was for Bio-Technology.

You can check the same at

https://cache.careers360.mobi/media/uploads/froala_editor/files/1608643929phpfepjgf.pdf

And to get around  6,24,165 rank, you need at least around 45-50 percentile as per our predictor at
