Great university with wonderful labs and equipment. Also the sports complex is really great. Hostels are also nice. Best campus in Delhi after IIT Delhi. The greenery inside the campus is also maintained.
The college ranks among the top 30 in the NIRF ranking so that already clears things up. The faculty is great, they are experienced and friendly. Also, the students are selected through JEE so the spirit of competition is maintained.
The placement is usually great, even for core branches. The average placement is around 75% and average package is around 24-25 lakhs per annum. Computer Science engineering is the branch that achieves the highest packages.
My course costed around 2.15 lakhs per year which is fine considering that the average placement is around 24-35 lakhs per annum so ROI is fine.
Campus life is the best part of dtu as the curriculum is comparatively chill as compared to other colleges. There is a whole week in which the fest of the college takes place and it is one of the best fest in north india.
Delhi Technological University, Delhi is a government college. Whole campus infrastructure is well developed. Campus is Full air conditioned including library, classroom, student lounge etc. wifi connection is providing in hostel also .
I am pursuing btech in chemical engineering from this college. Quality of teaching is definitely good. Teacher have good knowledge about their respective subjects. College also provide Tut sheet to examine all the students.
DTU Has its own placement cell and this cell work properly. Internship opportunities are provided by the college in end of 4th semester. Average placement for last year was 12.5 lpa and ROI is also good.
The university is equipped with modern facilities and resources, providing an enriching environment for students. The classrooms are well-maintained, and the laboratories are equipped with up-to-date technology, facilitating a conducive learning atmosphere.
The BA program at Delhi University is comprehensive and diverse. It offers a wide array of subject combinations, allowing students to tailor their degree according to their interests and career goals. The university is renowned for its high academic standards and quality of teaching, attracting students from all over the country.
Delhi University has a proactive placement cell that works diligently to provide students with ample job opportunities. But for this particular course it is very difficult to get placed immediately and it may take some time.
The facilities of the college are good, the college provides a good environment for students to study in, the hostel rooms are good with attached bathrooms, the mess food is good, the classrooms and labs are well-equipped and the infrastructure of the college is good.
Faculty and curriculum are a big drawback in this college. The professors are least qualified and don't have knowledge to teach. Semester exams are easy and some days of study before exams can get u good grades. -no, it does not make u industry ready.
I am pursuing a B.Tech from DTU, so I think I can tell better about my college and its placement. The average package for electrical engineering in DTU is around 15 LPA. The highest package for electrical engineering is around 80 LPA. Placements for core branches are good in DTU.
Good college in Delhi.
The infrastructure of this college is so beautiful.Condition and maintenance of classrooms, labs , libraries and sports ground is on time. This college has an adequacy of space for various activities like sports,Cultural Function.Wi fi facility is available on college campus. The living space are clean and the food hygienic.
I am currently pursuing Graduation from this college.Quality of teaching is very good. This college is known for academic excellence and curriculum was updated as per New education policy 2020 That is helpful for us.
The quality of placement of this college is good.Placement facilities are available for only professional courses. The college is supporting their students for every process. As per my knowledge the average package of the students in professional courses is 15 lpa.
Good college.
The infrastructure of DTU is impressive, boasting a vast campus. The library is serene and well-ordered, fostering a disciplined study environment. The campus's commitment to sustainability is evident through its green spaces. With the addition of a second canteen, the amenities have improved. The laboratories are well-equipped with all the necessary instruments. Overall, the infrastructure leaves little to be desired. The Open Air Theatre oat is enjoyable during the winter, although it can get
The syllabus of Environmental Engineering is comprehensive, covering a range of challenging subjects. It's not as straightforward as some might suggest. While the professors could be more supportive. The curriculum is well-balanced with an emphasis on both theoretical knowledge and practical application. Professors are on the lookout for students who are eager to learn and are willing to support those who show interest.
When it comes to placements, the scenario for Environmental Engineering students is not very promising. Many students don't study with passion, which often leads to them not securing positions in their field of study. Instead, they tend to find employment in non-technical or other technical sectors.
DTU has a great campus with many rooms and buildings, including two canteens, a new auditorium, a sports complex, and a Central library. The infrastructure is top-notch and better than many other colleges. They also host big festivals that lots of students attend. No doubt should be there regarding infrastructure. It is really best.
There are many different departments for academics, and the teachers are really good. If you go to class regularly and talk well with the teachers, it'll help you a lot. It's important to attend the labs if you want to get good cgpa. The study material covers a wide range of topics and gives you a deep understanding but after getting admission students don't want to spend more time in class so they prefer to study by self study. Environmental engineering branch, professor do take classes. It is hectic branch as compare to other branches.
For jobs, over 300 companies come to DTU to hire students. But to get a good job, you need to have a high GPA and the right skills. Stay focused and seek advice when needed, as it's very important for your success.
The fees at the college are quite high, and scholarships are rare. Only few students receive them. We can opt for educational loans.
It is better to stay connected with seniors and professors, joining societies offers good opportunity. DTU is best choice if you have interest in engineering and ready to hardwork otherwise it is not good to take engineering.
Yes. Think twice before taking admission as your interest would play a vital role and 4 year of dedication is needed.
the college had good infrastructure. Mine was the second batch so the building was under construction in the 1st year but by the time the 2nd year rolled in, it was fully constructed and well furnished.
Professors were simply amazing. They had wisdom that they wanted to share outside of the walls of the classroom. They were very involved in the college affairs and helped students all the way through.
Placement wasn't very well during my time since I graduated during COVID-19. the college was fairly new so not many companies were aware. It was decent I would say but still needed a lot of work to be done.
it was value for money
it was good.
College it amazing.
Dtu is really nice in the terms of infrastructure. Academic buildings have classrooms, laboratories, and offices, all equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors. The campus is adorned with well-maintained green spaces, providing a serene environment for students. The library serves as an academic hub, offering a vast collection of books, journals, and online databases, alongside quiet study areas. Hostels are available for student accommodation, and the campus is technologically friendly, with Wi-Fi coverage and computer labs in some building only. DTU also provides transportation services for students' convenience, they have bus.
Environment branch have rigorous academic program that is challenging compared to other branches. Academic of this particular branch is not up to mark. Some professors are really so talented but some of them are strict. Professors are trying to deliver engaging lectures.
When it comes to placements, DTU has a strong reputation. The coordinates helps student to grab secure job, preparing them through pre-placement talks and mock interview. Major companies across IT, engineering, and consulting sectors recruit from DTU, though the environmental engineering branch may not see as strong a placement record. Not every company allow environmental engineering students but it doesn't mean this branch is not good.
Investing in a degree from DTU pays off immensely, given its strong reputationm Additionally, DTU alumni often find it easier to secure admissions abroad, leveraging the university's prestigious credentials.
Fests are so nice, enjoyed a lot. Yet to spend one more year, looking forward to enjoy and learn..
The campus is beautiful, surrounded by greenery. We have a large sports complex and two big auditoriums where various events, competitions, seminars, and other activities take place. However, the library, while well-maintained faces issues with its Wi-Fi due to the high number of students and limited connectivity. Wifi connection are not available in campus. The classrooms in the newly constructed buildings are comfortable, spacious, and equipped with smart class facilities. Unfortunately, some of the older blocks suffer from malfunctioning air conditioning. Overall, the campus is expansive and pleasant.
Regarding academics, the syllabus is heavily theoretical and lacks practical orientation. Although there are lab facilities, the professors do not emphasize practical learning. Unhone sab students par chod Diya Hain jinko phele se knowledge nhi h, college m vo practical karwane se ayega. Professors are strict and unsupportive, with only a handful of exceptions among the 5-6 faculty members. Overall, the academic quality is below average.
Placements in the Environmental branch may not be as strong, but it's essential to recognize that placement outcomes do not solely depend on the branch. Instead, they are influenced by students skills, efforts, and dedication. Before taking admission in engineering, people often get caught up thinking about the branches. However, it's crucial to focus on your own hard work and determination. Every branch has its merits, and there should be no partiality. So, believe in yourself and strive for excellence!
DTU fees are exorbitant, amounting to 2 lakhs 30 thousand per year, with annual increases. Considering the financial burden, the college should reconsider its fee structure. The college's reputation may be significant, but it doesn't necessarily justify such high fees.
Campus life lacks vibrancy, except during fests (which many college students avoid due to the overwhelming crowd of outsiders). Colleagues are generally unsupportive, and everyone seems preoccupied with their studies and personal lives. My initial excitement about joining this college was met with disappointment, it didn't live up to my expectations. If you're considering admission here, think twice. Branch sab badiya h even so called lower branch Mai score karna is tougher than other branches. If you wish to get success, need to hard work and live for yourself. Don't rely on college. Self study can only help you.
No.

Dear
