College is well maintained and clean. It consists of reading room, library, classroom, laboratories, garden as well as a gymnasium. WiFi connection is slow and computer laboratories are a bit outdated.
We are introduced to research projects in our final year Btech itself. Very few can pursue it successfully, but those who do, are able to publish successful research papers in our institute. Electrical laboratories are well maintained and functional.
I got a chance to sit for Torrent Power interview but could not clear it. Not many companies have visited our college because of COVID and less popularity in Ahmadabad. TCS, Wipro and HCL are the only few reputed companies for multidisciplinary fields.
My college has all the necessary infrastructure. Situated at a prime location, it consists of well maintained classes, AC labs, supportive faculty as well as mess, hostel and PG facilities. It also consists of a Gym.
In terms of academics my college is fully updated with their curriculum. We study control systems, power electronics, digital systems as well as FACTS devices. GUJCOST has recently inaugurated a lab where one can work on smart home and PCB design.
This year placements are not good. I did not sit for placements because I did not get shortlisted post Written examination from Torrent Power. CTS, TCS and HCL are few well known companies our college has visited us till now. None got shortlisted from HCL.
It is like any other college. Mess, hostel, open air theater, reading room, library, etc. Labs are super awesome. College wifi is too slow. Cant access most of the techno journals with that wifi. Classrooms are well ventilated and air conditioned.
College curriculum is updated every third batch. Few new electives have been added such as Geographic Information Systems. Remote Sensing, Smart Infrastructure and many more. Faculties are helpful too.
I haven't applied for any interview nor have I been shortlisted in any entrance exam till now because no core civil company has visited our college. Four students have been placed from electrical and mech domain.
My college infrastructure consists of a sprawling open air theater which is my favorite place. Reading room is a common room for us to hangout or do group presentation work. Mess is mediocre but safest in COVID times.
Laboratories are modern and are updated in lieu with latest subjects such as Smart Home, drone as well as PCB design. Control systems lab consists of robotic arm, Water level control, suspension system and many more interesting experiments.
I havent gotten a chance to sit for interview yet. '20 and '21 batch were the most unlucky for the entire placement scenario. I had gotten shortlisted for Torrent Power but could not clear it's interview. Not many companies have visited us till now.
1. Reading room 2. Library containing reference as well as leisure books. 3.Open Air theater for campus fests as well as cultural events. 4. Lush gardens where one can play 5. Two hostels as well as a mess facility serving normal food
Electrical faculty is really supportive whether in terms of Btech Project or tutorial sessions. FACTS, Power Systems, Communication Systems, Network theory are some of the subjects studied under third and fourth year of Electrical Engineering.
COVID has spoiled everything. I am preparing for IAS exams because I have lost faith in placement cell. Not many companies in core electrical have visited us till now. Torrent Power and Torrent Gas are the only popular ones.
Library, mess, reading room, playground, two hostels, Classrooms with Smart vision, Open air theater, mech labs such as manufacturing lab, 3D prototype lab, Machining lab are some of the highlights of my institute. Transportation is also accessible and fully convenient.
I will talk about startup and innovation exposure in Mech department. Most of our startups are from mech alumni because faculties are too supportive and always ready to help. Moreover, most of the research papers at Btech level are from mech dept itself.
COVID has affected my placement. I did not have major plans so I gave GATE exam. When I asked my friends I came to know not many companies have been successful in placing students. CTS, TCS and Wipro are the only companies my friends are placed in till date.
1.Library 2.Mess 3.Reading room 4.Classrooms and hi end labs 5.Hostels 6. Open Air theater are few of the facilities. WiFi is too slow. Examinations are held in a uniform manner. We have recently introduced student insurance from a reputed company for a small fee per semester which is really insightful.
Civil faculties are really nice and helpful. Surveying, GIS, Remote sensing, environmental engineering etc are few subjects which we study. HOD is always supportive when it comes to startups and innovation.
I could not sit for placements till date. No civil based company has been in our college yet. I had one backlog in first semester and had cleared it way before time. Even then, major companies demand no history of backlogs.
For studies, college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. One can get all necessary support in that respect and cannot complain about the same. For sports, college does not have sufficient infrastructure. College building is simply a 6-storey structure where each floor is dedicated to a particular department. However, IITRAM have some good lab facilities which are accessible to all students and that is a plus point.
I am pursuing Bachelors of Technology in Electrical Engineering. Quality of teaching is good, but still self-study is always required wherever you go. If you are willing to learn, all professors will be more than happy to teach you. IITRAM is a new college, established 7 years ago, and since then they have been developing and revising the course curriculum every year and making changes as and when required. Does what you study makes you job-ready?: No!
Not sure about the quality of placements as the data is not publically available. But still, placements are not very promising. Going for higher studies is preferrable. Placements are not something that IITRAM is great at. However, it can provide substantial help in doing research related work and prepare you for higher studies.
Well, my tuition fees we completely waived off. So, can't complain. But, tuition fees for students admitted through JOSAA is around 1.3 lacs per year. ACPC students get 50% scholorship, thus they pay around 65k. Girls get additional scholorships from Govt. of Gujarat. Hostel and Mess costs around 52k per year.
As mentioned above, college campus is very small for someone who likes sports. Students, teachers and support staff are very supportive. It's located in the residential area and is surrounded by residential buildings. Yes, it's safe and can handle emergencies very well.
Overall it's a good college for someone who likes to study and wants to pursue higher studies. It has great facilities for them. However, for someone who likes sports and loves to engage in many extracurricular activities, I'm not sure if he/she will get that here.
Yes, It has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. It does have mandatory facilities like classrooms, laboratories, libraries and hostels but not sports centres. They are all used and well-maintained. The living spaces are clean but the food is not that hygienic.
I am studying Electrical engineering. The quality of education is good since it has PhD holder faculties who are experts in their own field. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. It does makes me job-ready.
The quality of placements at my college is okay. The percentage of students placed is around 60%. The highest package offered is 9 lac p.a. and it went to electrical engineering course. The average salary offered is 3 lac. The placement process is quite difficult. The college is supportive to a certain level.
The cost of course per year is around 2 lac. According to the facilties we receive, I feel that I am not getting what my money's worth it. Indeed the education is good but still extra curricular activities are kept low.
There are many clubs in the college like SKI club, Avish club, Dayatva, Movie club, etc. Intra-college fests are organised but not yearly. Inter-college fests are not much promoted. The people at this college whether it be students, teachers or support staff are all supportive. It is situated in middle of a society. So, it is safe.
The college is entirely good. But it should more focus on students all round developments. This should begin with encouraging extra-curricular activities, supporting students in organizing fests and giving proper hostel facilities.
Library, reading room, cafeteria, mess, hostels, well classrooms, are some of the basic facilities available at IITRAM. Transportation and location of college is very convenient and accessible via public transport buses.
Laboratories are all hi-tech and updated with all latest instruments, Two-Three startups in domain of EV and 3D Printing have also incubated in our college. SSIP Cell provides funding to all deserving startups.
COVID has affected but has managed to grab attention of TCS, CTS, Torrent group. I could not sit for placements but I could sense from the fact that 5 students have already been placed till date. Hope many more companies come in future.

All the best student,
Hope this helps you.
Hi,
Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management has been established by the Government of Gujarat as an Autonomous University and has been mandated to bring about significant change in Engineering Education with respect to Technical and Managerial knowledge in the area of Infrastructure.
Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management offers Bachelor and Master of Technology programs in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The Institute also offers Ph.D. studies in various fields in Basic Sciences, Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences. The medium of instruction is English and the examination is also conducted in English.
As compared to any other colleges in Gujarat, IITRAM is best choice for doing civil engineering. Most of the faculties of IITRAM are from IITs and NITs. All of the faculties hold PhD degree in their respective areas of interest mostly from reputed IITs. Also student to professor ratio is almost 10:1 which is better than any other regional institute. Also now comes the placement, that too had happened and average package of civil branch was almost between 3 to 4 lakh. All the students were given opportunity to sit for the placements.
Hope it helps.
Following are the top companies which recruiting companies of IITRAM, Ahmedabad in Civil Engineering Branch;
Etc.
Thank You.
