Thapar University Scholarship

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala offers scholarships to deserving students. Thapar University offers several merit-based, means-based, government-approved, and alumnus-ward scholarships.  TIET Patiala scholarships are offered based on candidates' academic performance. The tuition freeships and other financial aid also are provided to undergraduate and postgraduate students. 

Thapar University scholarship schemes can vary every year. Hence students must pay a visit to the official website of the TIET Patiala, for notices and announcements. As per the Thapar University scholarship policy, eligible female and differently-abled candidates studying in the diploma or degree programmes receive financial aid from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The Punjab Government also offers post-matric scholarships to students from reserved categories. Students must fulfill the proposed eligibility criteria for merit-based scholarships. There are additional financial assistance schemes and stipends, provided by TIET Patiala for students belonging to minority communities, J&K, and other categories.

Classrooms have Wi-Fi routers and projectors. library is huge and have lots of books. There are 17 hostels, of which 8 are for girls and rest are for boys. Food quality is good and there is variety of food. You get sweeter everyday. There is a dispensary and a medical shop in the campus. There is badminton court, tennis court, football field, basketball field, cricket field, swimming pool, etc. With coaches.

placements are good. But teachers are not much responsive.

Classroom and labs are well structured. Library is the biggest attraction due to its beautiful building and variety of books. Wi-Fi is provided 24*7 all over the campus but in hostels, it is not that good. Food provided in mess is not that good. Medical facilities are also available at campus itself. Many sports competitions are also held in regular intervals.

Thapar University is one of the most renowned Universities in India. In terms of quality of education, holistic development, healthy student culture, placement package, and even the fee. But as far as I know, it is mostly known for its B.Tech courses. I would suggest that if you have other options like DU, Christ University, or any other central university, maybe consider them before resorting to Thapar University.
