The British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, generally referred to as BSAC, is a global professional organization for research and education in antibiotics and antimicrobials. It was founded in 1971 and it has more than 5,000-plus members spread across 135 countries. A host of people and organizations from varied backgrounds including parliamentarians, researchers, policymakers, journalists and scientists work under BSAC to dig deep into antimicrobials. 

Plus, it publishes one of the prestigious journals in the world, the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, to promote academic pursuits in this field. About BSAC courses

BSAC online courses are offered by its online education resource, the Infection Learning Hub. It provides many online courses with open access to anyone at any time. The duration of BSAC courses varies from a couple of hours to 3-4 weeks. The long-term (2-4 weeks long ) courses are offered in partnership with Futurelearn. BASC courses discuss topics such as antibiotics, behavioural change, infection management, vaccines, data collection, COVID-19 and many more. 

BSAC also conducts many live-stream events and recorded webinars on the Infection Learning Hub. The participants of webinars will be awarded a certificate of participation.
