M&A: Concepts and Theories online course will take you through all the strategic processes in a merger and acquisition, such as a foundation in strategy, finding a deal, corporate valuation, regulation, and much more. You will dive into topics such as different buyer strategies, how to begin an acquisition process, identifying successful acquisitions, and how a merger and acquisition can add to business value.
M&A: Concepts and Theories by edX will be taught by the esteemed and expert faculty of NYIF Jeff Hooke. He is an NYIF faculty member and has over three decades' worth of experience in private equity, corporate valuation and investment banking. This is an intermediate course in Business and Management and requires a weekly effort of one to two hours a week.
M&A: Concepts and Theories is a short-term course of four weeks duration. This is a self-paced course, which means you can choose your lecture timings. The course also offers video transcripts in English and needs no prerequisites to join. There are 2 tracks that Edx offers and candidates can choose only 1 track to complete the course. The names of these tracks are verified and audit tracks. Both these give access to the course materials but the verified track has unlimited access to the course whereas limited access is offered if the verified track is chosen by the candidates.
