The online training of this core course is scheduled for twelve weeks where students are guided through the advanced level training in the domain of physics, chemistry and metallurgy, material sciences, and mining engineering.

The Chemical Crystallography certification course is a 12 weeks online programme. This programme is held through online tutoring on the Swayam platform by the experienced Professor Angshuman Roy Choudhury of IISER Mohali. The course certification provider partners are NPTEL and IIT Madras.
