PHFI/ Public Health Foundation of India is a not-for-profit public-private initiative meant to cope with the public health challenges in India. PHFI was formed in 2006 as a result of a national consultation by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The Public Health Foundation of India has an active presence in public health education, research and training. PHFI also offers online PHFI courses, offline Public Health Foundation of India courses certification programmes and training on various aspects of public health to promote public health awareness among people. Public Health Foundation of India also contributes extensively to the research and policymaking in the public health industry.
PHFI - Overview
PHFI came into existence in 2006 as a public-private entity to work for the improvement of the public sector of India.
Many Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) were established under the Public Health Foundation of India to promote research, education and training in public health.
PHFI offers e-learning programmes, on-campus courses and training.
PHFI also provided placement assistance for the learners who graduated.
