The infrastructure here is pretty decent and is upgrading at lightning fast speed, all the labs are well equipped with all the necessary lab instruments. The hostel are not that good specially for the first year boys students, for girls the hostels are like 5 star hotels.
I am pursuing electrical engineering here at delhi technological university. Frankly speaking the curriculum here is outdated it is not updated since ages which makes students struggle a bit as they have to do certain things on their own.
The placements here at delhi technological university are excellent literally excellent. There were around 2400+ offers by the companies and the overall package was around 15 lakhs and the highest was 1.68 crore obviously international and the highest domestic package was given by apple 64.11 lakhs.
My total fees is around 9 lakhs 38 thousands excluding hostels and mess fees. They are increasing the fees here every year which is a drawback as many private colleges fees is less than this but when it comes to the placements it is total worth
The campus life here in Delhi technological university is just awesome. The campus is spread in 168 acres of land in Bawana. There are around 10 k students in b tech only which makes the campus a bit crowded sometimes.
If you're aiming this college for placements then you are aiming the right college. The only drawback which i feel is that the fees is on the increasing side, other than that everything about our delhi technological university is just awesome.
College has a very good infrastructure, classrooms and labs. But as it is one of the oldest college of Delhi , sometimes some old department classes feel bit outdated. Overall college infrastructure is good !
Academics or Course Curriculum is also very good. Faculty and all other staffs are highly qualified and experienced in their fields. But I think some of the recent development in the field is not reflected in the academics!
Placement wise it is one of the prestigious college of the Delhi and total placement percentage is increasing year by year. Nearly every kind of company visit the campus ranging from big tech MNCs to banking companies also .
The infrastructure is just amazing . The new hostels made are also world class and good. Different departments are there for every branch . All classes have smart boards. Wifi is all over there but not in every class .
I am studying electrical here . The teachers here are well qualified and have a lot of experience in their respective fields . Curriculum is little bit old but lates projects are run by professors . Overall average .
The placement are amazing . Last year highest package was 1.6 cr amazon berlin. Placement percentage is almost 100 percent. Placement cell is very helpful and helps us in placement period . Overall amazing placement
College infrastructure is the best thing about dtu. Campus is spreaded across 160 acres. I even didn't visited all the places. BEst outgoing place for couples. OAT (open air theater) is considered as the main attraction.
Teachers not very good in teaching. Although if they have knowledge they can't teach well. But research opportunities are good in my department. Course curriculum is very old. Although my stream offer some new subjects.
IT is the only thing students come here. Placements are absolutely great. Almost each student get placed irrespective he/she decided to pursue higher education or go for civil services. Average ctc is 15 lakh per annum.
Talking about DTU overall, the college have have enough resources for every one in college right there including infrastructure for events, classes, faculties, and equipments for every practical lab(but some equipments doesn't work). Now for mechanical it have all laboratories you need for your degree including softwares for designing, analysing your designs, etc. Coming to faculty, they are willing to help those to the fullest, who wants to learn new things from them.Otherwise they good in classes
I am studying mechanical engineering. Some teachers are pretty amazing and teach you with intrest giving real life examples. But few teachers just come read and go. Curriculum is somewhat that needs an update as it is the same the have been taught for years now. Mechanical engineering syllabus is extensive so it gives you an idea about all the sectors of core jobs in the industry but your specialisation is your in your field of interest subject in which you want to get a job.
Placement for mechanical is somewhat okish. But their is a good news, you can sit in placements for other roles in college too. Almost everyone is placed in various of job roles. Because many different types of recruiters come to college. Be it as big as Amazon, microsoft or for mechanical like Bajaj,Benz, etc. The average offer made in college is 15 lpa which is preety good.
See this university is value for money if you want to make your future bright as it provides you with all the opportunities that you will need to make your dreams come true. It's upto you that how you will be pursuing yourself from the first year and carry along till final year. You get every opportunity like to do research, to get placed in a giant name coming to your mind or be it just a good placement.
Campus Life is what that make DTU stand apart from other colleges. It got fests, good campus. Good library. Societies that are best of their kind when it comes to college circuit. You can join society of your interest like dancing, singing, drama, or be it a very good sports teams of DTU you can have them all.Or just chill at oat and play in sports complex now and then. Teachers support those who wants to learn from them. Location is good every transport options is available from here.
For me DTU is the place where I can open up. I might end up siting at oat all day long or back to back attending lectures till evening. Weekend holidays makes your relax and you can do your studies or just follow your hoobies alongside. DTU is good overall.
Collage is very good in infrastructure and have all the facilities inside the campus and have wifi with good internet speed so u can easily do what u want to do and u can study in fre time in library there is very big library also and u sit there and do coding also
I am doing btech in information technology (IT) and there are some very good teacher also and and I am new collage that's why I don't know whether curriculum is updated or not. i don't know exactly whether it make job ready or not but IT is a good branch and it's tech branch so tech branch have good placement
Placement are very good in dtu and the avg package was 15 lpa and i don't know exactly but all studente and placed students say that u can get placement in dtu sure. Highest. Package was of around 1.12 crore.
Per year course cost was around 2.5 lakh and i don't know that it's worthy or not because I am new in this collage
Collage is very big and we have proper space for every activity and teachers also corporate with students if u r corporate with them and offcourse it's safe environment in campus
DTU has great infrastructure including full fledged sports complex, labs, hostels, mess, heath centre etc. Every classroom is equipped with projector and whiteboard for teaching. Classrooms are hygenic and well maintained by the staff. There are plenty of washrooms. The new hostels added in the campus are centrally air conditioned/heated during winters. They have mess, and dedicated playing areas in them where students can leisure in their free time.
The curriculum is well designed taking all the aspects of modern education into perspective. There are theory classes for students to understand the concepts well. They are followed by tutorial classes so that enough practice can be done by students before exams. Lab periods are also held in which students apply what they have learnt in theory classes. Teachers are very professional and thorough with their concepts.
Placements in DTU are one of the best in India. Almost students from tech branches get placed into various product and service based companies. Placement rate is around 90% each year with average package of ~15 lakh per annum. International packages are often in crores. The training and placement department of DTU is very supportive towards the students in the entire process.
Average fees for BTech program is around 10 Lakhs for 4 years. I personally think that it is very much worth it to study in a prestigious University like DTU where the placements are up to the mark.
The clg has all the necessary equipment and facilities. SPS and Pragya Bhawan have AC installed in them. Library is excellent, charging port is there. Sports ground is awesome. One large cricket ground and one large football ground. Indoor hall for TT, badminton and chess. New hostels are good but very expensive. Food is not that good tbh. Only Mic Mac and Nescafe has good food. Main Canteen is worst. Wifi network works ok ok. Speed is medium.
Im studying computer Engineering to get placed. 8 out of 10 teachers don't know how to teach, they just read ppt, while some are great and focus on concept and visualisation. Study curriculum is too much outdated. Doesn't include recent developments. But can make you job ready.
Top notch..i mean seriously... International highest recently was around 1.9 CR(Palantir)... Domestic highest was around 60 L (apple)...97.9% placed ig...Idk much.......................................
2lakh 20thousand approx per year ..no not that much. Facilities should be more
Campus Life is absolutely amazing. People are really helpful. You have many different societies and tech teams and communities to take part in . You can even create your own society. Teachers and staff are very supportive (staff are bit more... Staff are love) .... location of this clg is bad. It is situated in remote area of badli , surrounded by slums... Nowhere is safe nowadays...take care...Yes it can handle emergencies.
Good campus, amazing students, great staff, medium teachers, average food.
College has fairly good infrastructure with 164 acres of area. It has seperate departments for different branches containing fairly good equipments some of them are the latest and are really helpful to carry out different experiments. It has 8 hostels for boys and 2 for girls with 2 brand new hostels. Big sports complex. Wifi and living conditions and food are okayish.
I pursued mechanical engineering here because DTU mech dept is one of the Asia's best mechanical engineering department. Curriculum and equipments in labs are mostly updated with preserving old models also.
There is huge placement for tech and non tech. Whereas in core the starting package might me less but gradually it equates with work and experience and also core has many PSUs also offering jobs. More than 90 % get placed on an average.
Infrastructure is good .there are separate buildings for different departments...cleanliness is also maintained in the campus. Libraries are also very good and contains all the books that a student needs. Food is also good in the college mess. Hostels are also nice. Two separate buildings are there for hostels. Overall the college infrastructure is very good.
I am currently pursuing BTech in electrical engineering. Curriculum in some subjects is not updated. Quality of teaching is good . Teachers are very interactive. Teachers use different props to explain everything.
Placements are very big reasons why we take admissions in DTU. Placements are very good . A student from non tech branch got a highest package of 1.2 cr. Average package of DTU is 13 lacks. Electrical branch is allowed in almost every company pacement.
Dtu is value for money just because of its placements and infrastructure. The campus is also very big and some faculty is very genuinely very good and polite . Mess experience is also very nice . Price of canteen is also very affordable.
Campus Life is very very good . A student gets very much exposure in college campus. Hostel environment is also very good . Ragging is also banned in the campus. Seniors are very polite and humble. They help the juniors in almost every thing they ask for.

Dear
According to the information with a CRL rank of 444,210 and an SC category rank of 29,995, getting admission to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Delhi Technological University (DTU) from the other state quota might be challenging. The cutoff for CSE in the other state quota is typically around 6,406 for the general category.
However, you still have other options to consider, such as state-level engineering colleges or private universities that have lower cutoffs. For finding the best college you deserve use College predictor too.
Thanks.
