Totally drink the entire IPMAT syllabus that includes topics such as Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, and GA. Know the number of questions, total time, marking scheme, etc. Give more importance to the strong points and weaknesses. Focus on the areas in which you are not perfect. You need to ensure that your study time is equally distributed over all subjects and topics. Be strict about sticking to the study plan. Keep practicing all sorts of problem-solving skills like arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data interpretation to improve your reading and comprehension abilities, vocabulary, grammar, and reasoning. Take as many mock tests as possible to simulate exam conditions and know where one needs to work. Attempt previous year's IPMAT papers to grasp the pattern and level of difficulty.

Proper guidance with the advice of experts could be derived through a coaching institute. Your score in 10th-grade is one of the eligibility criteria for IPMAT, though it is not the decisive factor for your admission. A holistic profile that includes performance in IPMAT, 12th-grade scores, and other factors such as extracurricular activities and personal interviews is taken into account by IIM Indore. The Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by IIM Indore for admission to colleges offering five-year integrated programme in management. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria can appear for the IPMAT. The minimum qualification required to apply for the IPMAT is Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent examinations with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for candidates who belong to the SC/ ST/ Pwd DA category).

IPMAT is an online test conducted at a number of test centers across the nation, and the duration of the exam is 2 hours (120 minutes). The test paper has a total of 100 questions divided across two sections namely, Quantitative Ability (MCQ and Short Answer Questions), and Verbal Ability (MCQ). The sectional timing is 40 minutes per section. Each correct answer carries 4 marks, and one mark is deducted for every wrong answer (short answer questions are exempted from negative marking). The IPMAT selection process comprises a two-step process namely, appearing in the IPM Aptitude Test followed by the Personal Interview.

IIM Indore offers the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) to students. The programme was launched in the year 2011. The IPM programme has been accredited by the Association of MBAs, London (4th and 5th Year). Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination can apply for this programme.

Candidates seeking admission to the IPM at IIM Indore must follow the steps as mentioned below:

Step 1: Fill out an application form aimed at understanding the students’ proficiency in academics, as well as in co-curricular activities.

Step 2: Appear for the IPMAT entrance examination conducted to test the applicant’s aptitude, logical reasoning, and proficiency in English and Mathematics.

Step 3: Shortlisted candidates must appear for the Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview process.

The course fees for domestic applicants for the first three years of the programme is Rs. 5,00,000 per annum, and the fees for the fourth and fifth year would be as per prevailing PGP fees. At the end of five years, candidates will receive the Bachelor's of Arts (Foundations of Management), and an MBA under the dual degree programme by IIM Indore . Students are required to complete social internship at the end of second year, and business internship between fourth and fifth year. The placements are conducted along with the PGP students.
