I have gotten 98.2% in jee mains (rank 20564) & 86% in my 12th STD. Which IIIT can I get and which will be best among them?

Hello,
Admission in IIITs has nothing do with your Class 12th boards percentage as long as you are fulfilling the boards criteria, i.e. an aggregate of 75 percentage in CBSE Boards or to be in top 20 percentile of the respective boards.
Since you have not mentioned your category here, your query would be answered by considering general candidate here. According to 2018 cutoffs, with a rank of 20564, you can get 4-year B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIIT Bhubaneswar. You can also get 4-year B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering, ECE at IIIT Naya Raipur. These are some very good options for you.

Hello Kevin,
Chances are bleak of your getting nits or iiits but if you wait till last rounds of counselling you can get into north eastern nits like nit manipur,nit arunachal Pradesh, nit Sikkim, nit meghalaya. You can get branches like chemical, civil, mining in these college. If you opt for special round counselling you can get nit andhrapradesh as well. So surely go for special rounds..

Sorry to tell you that with general rank 106000 and obc rank 30050 your chances are nearly nil to get any good nit or good iiit .

If your home state is any one of the northeast states then you have chances that you can grab a seat in nit which is in your particular state as closing rank in northeast nits for home state is very high.

Can i get iiit kottayam with obc rank 10838

Well Sai ,according to previous years cut off analysis which is subjective as cut off ranks change every year depending upon level of difficulty of jee mains this year, no of applicants applying to IIIT Kottayam and having ranks above your rank ,keeping in mind above factors and analysing previous years cut off ranks you can definitely get IIIT Kottayam with a rank of 10838 as closing rank for IIIT-Kottayam last year for obc category was 12696.

Is there any separate form to be filled for admission in btech in iiit gwalior

Hi kawaljit,
There is no extra admission form to be filled to get into iiit gwalior it can opted under josaa counselling process .
So if you have been under the closing cutoff of the iiit gwalior computer science branch you will get admission into it .

Last year cutoff .
Computer science - 6908 rank to 12736rank

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.

College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad

There are special lab like IOT Lab and VLSI lab present in campus. Campus is wifi enabled also libraries of iiit bhubaneswar has more than 12000 book campus area is decent 21 acers which is good enough to travel fast and rome around campus
