If you have cleared the JEE Mains Cutoffs, you become eligible to appear for JEE Advanced exam. According to your JEE Advanced rank, you can get a seat in an IIT. Admissions in NIT and IIIT has nothing to do with JEE Advanced rank. NITs and IIITs take admission based on your JEE Mains rank and marks.

With a percentile of 79,you are not even qualified to write JEE Advance and with this percentile your rank will be more than 2 lakh.Hence it is impossible for you to get into any of the NIT even though you belong to ews category.Hence I suggest you to give other exams properly.Thank you.

As per your Category Rank and previous year cutoff, you have a very good chance to get IIIT Gwalior since seats are increasing every year. 

Moreover if you participate in Spot Round which will be conducted by CSAB after 7 Rounds of JOSAA Counselling, then you will have more chances to get IIIT Gwalior.

If you belongs to ST category and have mentioned your category rank, your chances of getting a seat in NITs, IIITs are less. However, you can try to get a seat through state level counselling.

Reservation for EWS category is being provided for the first time by NTA in JEE Main exam therefore it would be difficult to tell you about your chances of admission as previous year cutoffs for EWS category is not available.

You can wait for the counselling and release of cutoff. Hope for the best.
