Sorry to say but you will not get NIT with this rank.

As per your rank and previous year cutoff, the colleges you get are:-

Pune institute of computer technology

IIIT Pune

YMCA college of engineering,Faridabad

Hey,

The minimum JEE percentile to get into the IIITs is 98.9(let's round it off to 99 percentile)

For any of the reserved categories, it'd be no less than 95 percentile.

Hence, you'd not be landing up in any of the IITs. Apply for other entrance exams for securing a seat in better colleges.

Hope this helped you.

Thank you and keep asking :)

Hello student, Greeting from Careers360.com!

With a rank of 67,000 in the OBC category, It becomes difficult to secure a seat in the NIT's or IIIT's. However you can predict the colleges which you are likely to get using the following link:

Dear candidate

As you mentioned that you belong to the general category and in this rank(72819) you can not get any nit , IIIT or any government universites, because for getting nit these days your rank should be below 10k for any better nit or IIIT .for getting government universites there are some chances for you to get a seat but believe me it's rare for general categories.if you belong to sc/St only then you can get a government college in this rank .

Hope this will helpful.good luck

With 82215 rank in Jee mains, it will be a bit tough to get into any top-notch NIT or IIIT but you may get newly opened Nits or one in North East. You can even get Tezpur University also as after IIT G Tezpur University is equivalent to NIT Silchar in North East. You can try for other colleges in spot round also as miracle happens in spot round.

Hello Spandana,
With a percentile of 91.6% you can get into lower tier NIT such as :
  • NIT Srinagar
  • NIT Puducherry
  • NIT Agartala
  • NIT Hamirpur
  • NIT Meghalaya
  • NIT Manipur
I would suggest taking a drop or write other competitive exams to get into core branches of engineering.
