IIIT Pune is one the new IIITs set up in tthe year 2017. It has temporary campus which even lacks some of the basic facilities. It is located on the outskirts of Pune where you can reach by taking a bus for almost 30 km. Pune is IT hub but still this institute atleast needs 10 years to grow properly.

Well the number of questions is bound to change from time to time. There are certain sections in the paper. When you submit one paper then you cannot go back to that section again and the paper is also followed by an interview but the questions asked in exam are quite easy so do not worry.

Sorry to be a carrier of bad news but as you might have realized by now that almost four rounds of JOSAA counselling are over that you will not be getting a seat in any of the NITs, IIITs or even GFTIs this year based on your ST rank of 7831. So all the best for future.

Well you can quit all hopes of getting any of the 31 NITs. Even for IIITs you should know there is no girls quota there. The lowest IIIT like IIIT Bhagalpur also closed at about 18,000 OBC-NCL rank in the special round so please look somewhere else because getting a seat through JOSAA seems highly unlikely.

I will answer directly to the point. With a JEE MAIN percentile for 75,27 and an OBC-NCL category rank of 98,600 I think it is quite unrealistic of you to even expect that you can get a seat in any of the prestigious NITs, IIITs or even GFTIs.

Well I am answering this question based on the assumption that you are a general category male candidate. If there is something wrong in that then write down your details below. You can get some lower IIITs which have recently opened like Bhagalpur and Bhopal. You can also try for some GFTIs.

I can tell you about IIITs which conduct admission through JOSAA counselling that 87.2 percentile in JEE MAIN along with OBC-NCL category is not sufficient to get you a seat in any of the 23 IIITs and also in any of the NITs and probably even GFTIs. Comment below for furthur queries.

Well it is good that you are willing to take any branch in a good institute. But unfortunately you will not be getting a seat in any of the NITs or IIITs since your rank is way far from the cut-off to get you admission even in the lowest institutes so keep trying elsewhere.

I am so sorry to be the bearer of bad news but at this rank it is almost impossible to get a seat in any of the NITs and IIITs in not just CSE, Mechanical or Electrical but perhaps even the lowest branches like metallurgy and mining. Hence I suggest you not to put too much hopes on getting a seat this year.
