The cut off trends tend to change every year and same can be expected for this year as well. However, for your given score, you have a feeble chance to get into a good college, including those you mentioned in the question. For ECE NIT is better compared to IIIT .

Hmm there is little tough decision to take by comparing above two colleges .

By looking at the ranking of the college 3.5 is for NIT.

My suggestion is to go for NIT keeping in view about the placement too.

Hi ! No your rank is very low to get an IIIT but may be you can get some bad GFTI and don't expect for a good GFTI like bits Mesra. You can get a worst IIIT if your luck is too much good through vacancy. Still you can have a check in the link given below about which college you might get. Well brother, firstly congratulations for your decent performance in JEE mains.

Well, considering your rank and category you'll surely find a seat at decent NIT/IIIT.

Now, I couldn't get was is JMI, though it feels Jamia Milia Islamia. Well if that, since it has different counseling but still they give huge relaxation to muslims, so you'll find a seat at JMI of your prefered branch.

So I'll answer for NIT & IIIT.

With this rank, it would be far easier for me to give advice ragarding college if you had told your branch preference.
