The University of Queensland is a publicly owned institution that was established on 10 December 1909 by the signing of the University Act. The university has more than 200 clubs and societies.
The University of Queensland is also impressively at the 3rd position when compared in the “Best Global Universities in Australia/New Zealand” categories and “Best Global Universities in Australia”. It secured the position of 36th in “Best Global Universities”. These rankings were conducted by US News in 2024.
