After meeting the eligibility criteria, students must upload the documents and submit the application form fee to complete the admission process. Once completed, students will receive email notifications of the completed application form.
Undergraduate Admissions
For undergraduate admission, the selection process is based on academic records, SAT/ACT scores if provided, leadership, awards, service, and participation in extracurricular activities.
Students have to apply via the Common Application.
Next, students have to submit SAT/ACT/PSAT scores if available.
Submit the required documents.
English proficiency test score is required if English is a second language (eg- TOEFL, IELTS, MET, Duolingo).
Pay the application form fee of 75 USD.
An email will be sent to track the application.
Graduate Admissions
For the graduate programme admission, the application review process is looked after by the team of The Rackham Graduate School and the graduate program. After the review process, if the students are recommended for admission, Rackham will confirm and finalise the offer.
Students have to create an ApplyWeb account to begin the application.
A University of Michigan ID number will be emailed to the applicants.
Use the ID number to fill out the ApplyWeb application form.
Upload the documents.
Submit the test scores.
Check the email notifications to track the application.
University of Michigan Application Fees
The University of Michigan’s application fee is USD 75 for undergraduate students whereas USD 90 for graduate students i.e. they will be charging an amount during the application process for all the international candidates.
