IIM Kashipur Facilities
IIM Kashipur provides ample facilities for the all-round development of the students. Some of the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur facilities are boys' hostel, girls' hostel, library, sports, gym, cafeteria, auditorium, medical/hospital, wi-fi, IT infrastructure, etc. The institute provides well-furnished and well-ventilated hostels for both boys and girls students.
The Indian Institute of Management Kashipur also has a large collection of textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, etc in the library. Various indoor and outdoor sports like chess, carrom, badminton, cricket, football, and many more are available on the campus. IIM Kashipur facilities also include an on-campus gym and a medical clinic.
- Boys Hostel
The institute provides comfortable accommodation in the hostels for the outstation students. The hostel rooms are very spacious, well-furnished and are equipped with modern appliances.
- Girls Hostel
IIM Kashipur girls hostel facilities include well-furnished rooms and modern appliances. The safety and security of the hostels is taken care of by the hostel wardens.
- Medical/Hospital
The institute medical clinic has pharmacists and paramedics available on campus. A 24X7 ambulance service is also provided. Additionally, students of IIM Kashipur are medically insured and hence their treatment is free.
- Gym
Apart from the sports arenas, IIM Kashipur also has a gymnasium on campus to help students with physical training. The gym consists of modern exercising equipment that enables students to look after their health.
- Library
IIM Kashipur campus consists of a library which can accommodate a huge amount of students at once and is fully air-conditioned. The library holds thousands of books and is equipped with computers to aid learning.
- Sports
Equipped with many different sports arenas, Indian Institute of Management Kashipur gives a lot of importance to sports and physical training. From indoor to outdoor sports, the college has a sports centre and equipment to help students rejuvenate with sports activities.
- I.T Infrastructure
The IT infrastructure of the institute is well-maintained. It controls and manages the networking of the entire campus.
- Cafeteria
The institute has a canteen that provides hygienic food and consists of a large seating area for the students to have their meals in peace.
- Auditorium
IIM Kashipur has a modern auditorium to host seminars, cultural events and other events of the institute.
- Wifi
Entire campus of Indian Institute of Management Kashipur has wifi connectivity for students and faculty members.

Overall the college is ok-ish.
College Infrastructure
The college has all the facilities and it's very PwD friendly which I think makes it a great college. The infrastructure is also very good. The only problem is it's situated far away from the city so you don't have that easy access to the market.

good infrastructure , good mess, good hostel, student run campus, food is of good quality in kashipur as it is run by students only. Compared to other IIMs kashipur campus is beautiful among other IIMs.

To answer your question, NO, work experience in not compulsory for MBA in Business Analytics from IIM Kashipur.
Though, having work experience would definitely help in your interview, and further ahead in your career, but it is definitely not compulsory.

I would suggest your brother to go for IIM( Indian Institute of Management ) Trichy(Tiruchirappalli ) as it is definitely a better IIM than IIM Kashipur as according to NIRF rankings IIM Trichy is at 17 where as IIM Kashipur is at 33 so you can see the huge difference , also IIM Kashipur is a very new IIM in comparison to Trichy .
Your brother should choose a better college than the one which is closer to home .The placement scenario of Trichy is much better than Kashipur .
