IIM Kashipur Facilities
IIM Kashipur provides ample facilities for the all-round development of the students. Some of the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur facilities are boys' hostel, girls' hostel, library, sports, gym, cafeteria, auditorium, medical/hospital, wi-fi, IT infrastructure, etc. The institute provides well-furnished and well-ventilated hostels for both boys and girls students.
The Indian Institute of Management Kashipur also has a large collection of textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, etc in the library. Various indoor and outdoor sports like chess, carrom, badminton, cricket, football, and many more are available on the campus. Overall the college is ok-ish.
College Infrastructure
The college has all the facilities and it's very PwD friendly which I think makes it a great college. The infrastructure is also very good. The only problem is it's situated far away from the city so you don't have that easy access to the market.

good infrastructure , good mess, good hostel, student run campus, food is of good quality in kashipur as it is run by students only. Compared to other IIMs kashipur campus is beautiful among other IIMs.

Though, having work experience would definitely help in your interview, and further ahead in your career, but it is definitely not compulsory.
