This college has very good classroom and labs. Some of our classroom have projectors and air conditioned. There is also a sports centre where one can play volleyball, basketball, tennis , cricket and football. Apart from it we have gym and swimming pool to. We also have a student activity centre which have indoor sports facilities . Hostels are clean and hygienic , rooms are okay. We also have WiFi in hostel and academic buildings. We have a central library .
Teaching is not very good but curriculum followed by institute is up to date and as prescribed by AICTE. Teaching staffs are well qualified they are either PhD or Btech. graduate. Some are also very good at teaching bust most of them are not. The college course is exactly like what you need to have in future for job .
Because of the college remote location not many companies visit our campus. But companies like TCS , Infosys etc visit our campus every year . The average placement of our college is 3.5 lakh per annum and maximum privious year placement was about 8 lakh per annum.
Good , because you are going to have a good college at very low expense . It's fee for a semester is 31k approx .
Campus life is amazing . It have nice atmosphere , a lush green campus . Apart from it you a get a complete anti ragging environment here. Seniors are very supportive and also the teaching staffs. Students are passionate about their career too . So a good environment for you.
Good.
College infrastructure is very good. There are good quality laboratories, canteens and sport centers. The class rooms are very well equipped, clean and have a full wifi support. Living spaces are clean and hygenic and the food we get is hygenic as well.
I am studying manufacturing engineering. I chose this branch because of its rich job opportunities and good chance of placements. Curriculum is very updated. And yes what we study here makes us job capable as well.
The placements are very good at my college. More than 50% students were placed last year. The highest salary package was approx 10 lakhs and it was from mechanical branch last year. Average salary offered was 3.77 lakhs. Yes the olacement process was very easy and helpful. Yes the college was supportive as well.
The college costs 31500 rupees per year. And yes its worth my money. The services that we get for the money we spend here are completely justified. There is a very good arrangement of infrastructure. The academics are better.
Campus life is great. We have many extra curricular activities like sports, dramas and fests. Students can engage in various sports and fests. All the atmosphere in the college is very positive and delighting. Location is safe. All medical and emergency services are also available with ease.
This college is the place to be for knowledge.
College is quite good in infrastructure , it has well maintained and clean classrooms . Each type of laboratory and machine required in 4 year B.E. programme. It has sports facilities in student activity centre apart from it , this college has ground for cricket , football . Also it has volleyball courts and basketball courts. Hostel is also nice , it is neat and clean and also has WiFi facility. Mess food is not very good but okay.
Good . Nice professor and lecturer , well qualified . They also teach in a good manner. Few teachers are also not good . The institute has its own curriculum as it is an autonomous institute. The study is job oriented and focus on students skill required for job.
College has a good and active placement cell ,with employees working for improvement of placement . Also students are very good but still the placement is low and it is because of the college remote location . Average placement offered is 3.5 lakh per annum.
Great . It is the best college you can have in such a low fee with just 30.5k including hostel per semester and for mess you have to pay approx 2.5k per month. But still this is low with such a wonderful facilities offered.
Campus life is great , there are number of clubs working in college . Technical clubs are great and also the non technical one , you can spend lot of your extra time easily by getting busy in these wonderful clubs . You also get to learn a lot of things from these clubs. Seniors are very supportive and can help you anywhere in your academics or any other problem. Various fest and co - scholastic activities get organised throughout the session.
Great , go for it.
Good college, nice infrastructure . It has separate buildings for every department and separate laboratories . Laboratories in CS are very good. Hostel is also nice and properly hygienic . It also has WiFi facilities.
Average level of teaching , some faculties are very nice and some are okay. Teaching curriculum is according to AICTE recommendation but being an autonomous institute it has flexibility with syllabus .
Placement is also average . More than 90% of students got placed but with less salary. Average placement is 3.5 lakh per annum . Companies like Infosys ,TCS and Capegimini visit our college every year apart from it many companies for electronics , electrical and mechanical branch also visit.
Good
Campus has lot of trees and very good environment . Good and supportive seniors.
Good
Infrastructure is very good as compared to other government collage of same rank . There is decent playground seprate for cricket and footbal and other indoor games.classroom is neat and clean..wifi is available 24×7 but limited to 1 gb only..food provided are hygienic but not the taste ..
Currently doing cse...in this collage because I get that.at my jee rank 45k in general category.curriculum is totally updated as per MHRD syllabus.industrial training is also provided here to enhance industry ready...
Placement is not upto like IITS NITS but it's enough and increasing as years passed. Average placement is about 4 l.p.a most off the student get higher placement through off campus recruitment that's not tough ...collage is very supportive in this regards.
Total fees is about 60k per years which is not too much for such a govt collage and scholarship is also provided here for good rank holder.also many scholarship are available to get financial support.so this collage is worth for money
Campus is full of Greenery many type of flora nd fauna are found here.there is too much tree to enjoy a lot.market is somewahat far from collage .that is sangrur.afterall you can enjoy a huge park that free of cost.
Overall rating is average or good lying between them .the condition is supposed to improve day by day.many companies visiting collage day by day recently dell and samsung make visit to the collage.campus life is awesome.
Very nice infrastructure , good classroom , nice laboratories specialy on CSE department apart from it it has a sports ground , volleyball courts, basketball courts , tennis courts, football ground. Living spaces is properly hygienic.
It is average , there are number of faculties having good knowledge in their subject but fail to deliver it to students mostly. College is autonomous under MHRD so it has to follo guideline of AICTE and MHRD , bit it is also flexible with syllabus.
Placement records of recent years are average . The number of students placed is almost 90% , but the salary they get is nearly about 30,000 - 35,000 per month. But there are some students who also get good package like 60k per months but very few in recent years.
It is a good place if you have less budget .
It has an amazing environment, far from city noise , a very peaceful place with trees surrounding you. Apart from it you get supportive seniors .
College facilities and infrastructure is the best part of this college. College is spread in about 450 acar area which is(i think) quite large. Living spaces hostels are cleaned daily and they provide us a healthy atmosphere to study ..
The teachers are intelligent enough to make you understand but if you have doubts then you have to approach them..but they are always there to help you and that's the best part.. they provide a healthy atomsphere for study..
Placement record is just enough to start your job but if you want to get a higher package you must have extraordinary abilities.. skills are very important for a higher package.. so you have to work on your skill development to get a high package ..
Course cost is not so high . It is sufficient for graduation. It is about 60000 per year which is quite less..
Campus life is best. You will surely get 6 -7 hours to do what you want ?. The best part of my college is it's campus life.
In my views ,it is the best college according to your rank.
Yes, college has the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Classrooms are good, spacious. Laboratries are well equipped with proper instruments. Library has good collection of books on different subjects. Hostels are good enough with proper mess, common room etc. The living spaces are clean and food is hygenic.
Quality of teaching is good. Evaluation system is good. 2 Quizzes,1 minor exam, and 1 major exam are conducted throughout the semester to evaulate students. Curriculum is good and in 1st year focus is given to teach the basics of all engineering branches.
Quality of placements are good for the CSE branch and Mechanical branch. Most students are hired in companies as TCS, Infosys, Capgemini. Placement cell is active and we get recent updates of the placement activties going in campus.
Course is pretty affordable with Rs 30,000/semester. The facilities and infrastructure we get is worth the money and we get good quality education also fee waiver is provided to students who have secured good rank in JEE(Main) exam and fulfill certain conditions. Overall, studying here is worth the money.
Campus life is good although its far off from city area and nearest railway station is 20 km far. But it ensures quite and calm environment. Students are friendly, teachers are friendly, supportive, seniors are very good and like brothers, campus is ragging free. overall its a good institute.
College infrastructure is good. Laboratories are good. All equipments are well maintained.Lush green campus and cleanliness is everywhere. Fresh air in the environment. New classes are fully ac and old classes are non ac. Library is good and digital library is available. Study centre is open 24 hrs for study freak guys. Gymnasium to maintain fit and healthy. 1cricket ground, 1 football ground, 2basketball courts, 2 lawn Tennis courts, 3 volleyball courts ,badminton court, table tennis in each ho
Professors are good and qualified from IIT. Curriculum is as per required in the era of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Syllabus is designed as per with IIT syllabus because IIT Bombay is mentor of our Institute but still you have to study all basic subjects in first year(mechanical, workshop, electrical, ED etc) . Some teachers go to lower NIT to teach and organise sessions and workshops.
Placement is average. Average package of cse is 7lakh.24 lakh package is offered by adobe but it is off campus. Capgemini offered 8 lakh package this year. Placement of mechanical department is good. Hindustan Unilever offered 10 lakh package this year. Placement cell is working in this area and strong alumni network is growing per year.
SLIET is under MHRD and full GFTI. Semester fee(college + hostel) is ₹30, 500. Mess fee is ₹ 2400 which you have to pay ever month. Mess food is good because BHS, caretaker, guards take same food which we take.
College campus is good. Greenary is everywhere. Students are engaged in coding. Some are in robotics club. Some have joined dance club. Also playing sports. Some are engaged in playing mobile game(pubg, mini militia, COD etc).Location is not good as college is situated 20 km away from main city Sangrur.Bus facility is good between Sangrur and college which you can get at regular intervals of 1 or 2 hrs as per schedule.Local market is at Longowal.Health centre is there for emergency medical issue
Our college has good infrastructure, it has separate buildings for each department , it has nice classroom , labs and also has proper hygiene . Hostel facility is not that good bit very good according to the hostel fee. It also has WiFi with upper limit of 1GB/day.
Can't say very good but also not bad . In my department that is CSE , almost all teachers are well qualified and have good knowledge of their subject . The curriculum and syllabus is decided by University itself according to the recommendation of MHRD.
Placement is average . Average placement is about 3 lakh per annum now but it is likely to increase in next years because the number of companies visiting institute is on rise and every year new companies visit our college.Infosys, TCS are major companies for CS here .
Very nice college in less fee .
Campus life is amazing , various technical and non technical clubs are working in college and Seniors are very supportive . Also the internal environment of campus is very safe.
Hello Aspirant,
Unfortunately the answer to your question is no as Admissions in Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology is based on JEE exams as well as SLIET CET.
Hope this helps!!
Hello dear,
Bachelor of Technology average course fees in all over India including private colleges of the country vary between 50,000 rupees to 4,00,000 rupees per year which is variable depending upon B Tech specializations and colleges in which you are taking your admission.
It may even be less than 50,000 rupees per year in Government Engineering Colleges for the students whose annual family income is less than one lakh rupees and other category students like EWS/OBC/SC/ST.
I hope it will help you. Thankyou.
Hello,
Quality education at a lower cost.
Placements: In college, placements are adequate. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and a few local organisations are among the college's recruiters. This year's highest package was 23 L p. a., while the average package was around 4 L p. a. Around 80-90 percent of students were placed in classes where they were not eligible. The branch of computer science has the most placements, followed by ECE, EE, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Food. The lack of internship opportunities is concerning, and the college's placement division is attempting to address it.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and knowledgeable in their subjects. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is current and is updated on a regular basis to meet the needs of the industry. Final-year students can also participate in a 15-day industrial training programme to prepare them for the workforce. Semester exams are held on schedule and are adequate in testing students' knowledge and abilities. Approximately 90% of students receive passing grades on their semester exams.
Other: I picked Computer Science and Engineering because I enjoy working with software and want to learn about new technologies. My only suggestion is that the course include additional laboratories; otherwise, everything is fine. Every year, the college hosts several events such as techFest, Madhuram, and others. Campus life is really pleasant, and I appreciated the campus' infrastructure and flora. Every year, scholarships are awarded to deserving students.

Hope you got your answer
Infrastructure: The course has been updated to meet the needs of the industry. The infrastructure is excellent. Students have appropriate space in the classrooms, and proper sanitation is provided. Classrooms also have modern amenities such as Wi-Fi and smart monitors. The laboratories are in fine working order. In addition, the college includes a central library with sufficient books to meet the demands of students. The hostel facilities is really decent and reasonably priced. For some days, mess food is great, and for others, it's just okay. The college includes both indoor and outdoor stadiums for sports. Every hostel also has badminton courts for mental refreshment. SLIET health clinic is also available for minor medical requirements.
