Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery is also known as MBBS. General medicine is for five and half years, where four years are complete academics and the last six months to one year will be an internship programme. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)- National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the main medical entrance examination that is accepted in mainly all the medical colleges in India. It was previously known as the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT).
Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) – FMGE entrance exam is conducted by the National Board of Education. Students who have pursued their medical education outside India and now wish to practice medicine here, need to qualify for this examination. The duration of the exam is five hours, and it is conducted in English Language, twice a year.
AIIMS PG Entrance Exam: - AIIMS PG entrance exam is conducted by AIIMS Delhi. The exam is conducted to select students for admission into the Post Graduate courses offered at AIIMS. It is a national-level exam which is conducted twice a year and the duration of the exam is three hours.
PGIMER Entrance Exam: - PGIMER entrance exam is conducted by PGIMER Chandigarh for selecting suitable candidates for the various courses offered by the institute. The exam has a duration of three hours and is conducted online mode, twice a year.
