Transfusion Medicine deals with the study of medicine that includes the aspects of transfusion of blood and blood components. Eligibility Criteria (UG & PG) of Transfusion Medicine
The minimum eligibility to enter Transfusion Medicine course is a minimum aggregate of 50 marks from a recognised board or university.
For Undergraduates:
The minimum eligibility criteria for UG is 10+2 pass in Science field with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects and minimum 50 per cent marks as an aggregate.
With the minimum criteria of 50 per cent marks, the aspirant can take admission after qualifying the entrance exam if any conducted by the college.
For Postgraduates:
The aspirants who wish to pursue this course should have an M.B.B.S. degree with minimum 50 per cent marks from a recognised board or university.
Some institutions conduct entrance examinations also for admission.
Entrance Exams for Transfusion Medicine
The aspirants who wish to pursue Transfusion Medicine course, have to appear for the entrance exam to procure admission in this course.
NIMSEE - National Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Exam which is conducted by the university. After qualifying the examination, the aspirant can take admission in the college. This examination is conducted once in a year.

Basic qualification for transfusion medicine is MBBS degree with 50% mark from recognized university. National institute of medical science entrance exam and other entrance exam conducted at University level are criteria for admission. So after BAMS you can't do transfusion medicine.
