IIT BHU Placements

During the IIT BHU placements 2023-24, 89% B.Tech CSE students and 82.40% of B.Tech Electrical Engineering students were placed. IIT BHU highest salary package stood at Rs 16.8 Crore which was offered to B.Tech CSE students. IIT BHU average salary package offered to CSE students is Rs 24.8 lakhs.

As per NIRF 2024, 915 UG (4-year course) students were placed with Rs 20.0 lakhs, 234 UG (5-year course) students were placed with IIT Varanasi median salary of Rs 2.15 lakhs and 218 PG students have been placed by placement cell in 2023 with an average salary of Rs 12.00 lakhs. Reaching out to companies, organising their visits, carrying out IIT BHU Varanasi placement activities, and managing all formal correspondence with recruiters and students are a few of the important responsibilities of the IIT BHU placement cell.

IIT BHU Varanasi Placement Process 2024

Invitation- The training and Placement cell (TPC) will send invitations to various organisations to participate in the IIT BHU Varanasi placement drive.
Job Application Form/ Internship Application form (JAF/IAF) - The interested companies should fill out a JAF/ IAF that contains details of the job profile and the company's requirements and submit it to the TPC.
Pre-Placements Talks- Dates and slots will be assigned to the interested companies by the TPC to conduct the written test or online test.
Shortlist- The list of shortlisted students for the final IIT BHU Varanasi placement process will be mailed by the companies to the TPC.
Interview- The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the organisation.
Final Listing- The company will provide the list of final selected students.

During the placement 2023-24, IIT BHU highest salary was offered to B.Tech CSE students with Rs 16.8 crores, followed by B.Tech Mechanical Engineering was Rs 54 lakhs and B.Tech Electrical Engineering with Rs 51.03 lakhs. We will have ample employment opportunities. Placements are among them. Placements in our college are good enough, around 85 to 90 percent. We will be eligible for the placements after 3rd semesters onwards.

The placement is good that's right IIT has a good placement. From our batch approx 50 percent student were placed at the good places. The average package was provided by IIT Varanasi starts from 15 LACS annually.

In the course, about 93 percent of students are placed. The highest package went about INR 52 Lacs and lowest was INR 8 Lacs with an average of INR 18 Lacs. All companies visit the campus for this branch. For core compar such as visits and many other companies from non core branches also visit. 95 percent of stüdents get on campus internship in both core and non core companies such as ONGC, etc. A wide range of roles are offered in the course including on site engineers as well as sides

i would get 184 marks in gpat exam this year and 70 percentage in bpharma .so is there any chance can i get admission in iit bhu

IIT BHU has four different for M. Pharmacy which are Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy so they declared cutoff ranks according to your marks for each category every year cutoff changes due to various factors.They called 7 times more number students for counseling than the total seat available there.some application also get rejected because of not having gpat score and lack of eligibility so they create chance for other candidates.

So,If You want to be on Safe side you should achieve atleast below 500 rank in GPAT.

If I study PhD at IIT (BHU) in pharmacy and when PhD course completed then the institution can give me the opportunity to study abroad?

Hi Saikat,

You may choose to do a Postdoctoral fellowship after you PhD from BHU. A number of universities abroad do look for researcher fellows for such programs.

You will have to do a thorough research of such opportunities yourself. A number of fellowship sites such as researchgate may come handy in this process.

Yes, you can take the admission. For admission to a number of UG courses at BHU, CUET-UG results are accepted. In order to register, candidates wishing to be admitted to BHU must submit an online application through the official NTA CUET website. Applicants for PG courses must have a valid CUET-PG score. Certain courses may have merit-based admissions.

For almost 600 students, BHU has provided housing for international students. In a statement, the institution also mentioned how easy and hassle-free the admissions process is for overseas students.
