IIT Dharwad Admission Process

Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad admissions are offered to B.Tech, M.Tech, MS, M.Sc and Ph.D programmes. Candidates applying for IIT Dharwad admission to B.Tech programme should appear for JEE Advanced examination, while M.Tech admissions is based on GATE examination.

Students with M.Sc degrees may be considered for IIT Dharwad Ph.D admissions if they fulfil anyone with a valid Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) of CSIR/UGC/NBHM/DBT/ICAR/ICMR/ICPR/DST INSPIRE Scholarship. Candidates must meet the IIT Dharwad eligibility criteria before applying for admissions.

B.Tech	IIT Dharwad B.Tech admissions are based on JEE Advanced examination after qualifying for JEE Main. Pay the examination fees of Rs 2,900 (Rs 1,450 for Female/SC/ST/PwD). Qualify the JEE Advanced examination and register for JoSAA counselling. Select IIT Bhilai in the JoSAA choice filling.
M.Tech	Candidates must apply through the official website of the institute and apply for COAP counselling. Candidates can apply for more than one specialisation can select upto 10 preferences. Upload the documents and pay the application fees.
MS	Candidates must be eligible for IIT Dharwad MS admissions. Candidates must apply through the application form released on the official website of IIT Dharwad. Fill in the application form and submit the documents.
M.Sc	Candidates must appear for JAM examination portal. Fill in the application form and upload the required documents. Select the exam city preference and select IIT Dharwad in the admission preference. Pay the application fees of Rs 1800 (Rs 900 for Female/SC/ST/PwD) for 1 test paper and Rs 2,500 (Rs 1,250 for Female/SC/ST/PwD) for 2 test papers.
Ph.D	Candidates must be eligible for IIT Dharwad Ph.D admissions. Candidates must apply through the application form released on the official website. Fill in the application form and submit the documents. Pay the application fees and submit the application.

IIT Dharwad UG Admission Process 2025

The first step in the IIT Dharwad UG admission process is that students need to meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed.
Fill out the online application form to appear for JEE Advanced for Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad admissions.
Eligible candidates must appear for JEE Advanced.
The result of JEE Advanced is released in an online mode on the official website.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority released the round 1 of JoSAA 2024 seat allocation result on June 20, 2024. Selected candidates need to pay the seat allocation fees and submit the documents for verification. Candidates can visit the josaa.nic.in and fill in the JEE Main roll number and password for checking the seat allocation status.

IIT Dharwad PG Admissions 2025

IIT Dharwad offers MS, M.Sc and M.Tech programmes for the Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad PG admissions. IIT Dharwad offers MS programmes in three specialisations: Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. After qualifying the JEE Advanced 2024 candidates must apply and appear for the JoSAA counselling 2024.

Hello,
In CSE, roughly, 90% percent were placed with 8 LPA as average and 15 LPA as the highest package. Amazon, Adobe and Microsoft were the top recruiting companies. 80% students got internship.
The Karnataka Government has provided about 470 acres of land for the establishment of the permanent campus of IIT Dharwad, which is about 2-3 km away from the transit campus within the WALMI campus.

should o prefer artificial intelligence and data science in iit jodhpur or ece in iit dhanbad or cse in iit dharwad

IF you want to pursue btech in a old conventional branch then ece at iit dhanbad is best but if you have no problem in choosing new branches then iit jodhpur artificial intelligence is also good but i wont advice to take cse at iit dharwad as it is a new iit comparatively. Overall going by brand name and branch combined iit dhanbad ece might prove to be the best option.
