College infrastructure is not so good but it's homely. It's small but all necessary things have been provided. Hostels are neat and clean. Classrooms and labs are fine too. Library also has all essential books. Hygiene is maintained in mess and canteen. Campus is also neat and clean. Wifi has been provided all over the campus.
Academics here is very good. The quality of teaching made me choose this college. The college is very serious about good education and skills. Placement rate is also very good. Professors are also very kind and helpful. I think, after graduation I'll get a good job.
Around 98% is the placement rate at IIT Goa.This college has a high package of around INR 1.12 CR, and the lowest package is about INR 8 LPA. The average package at this college is about INR 17 LPA (which is good enough), and the average package for my mechanical course is about INR 15 LPA
It's totally worth it. This place is beautiful and academics is also very good of this college.
Campus life is very peaceful. People here are like family. Everybody knows everybody so it's very easy to connect and befriend among people.
It's been an year and I'm enjoying it. I'm exploring. Creating memories with amazing people I have met here. It's just magical.
Well, since its in GEC campus, IITsown buildings are really good, along with every needed equipment.. All other, IIT facilities are quite satisfying. And mess food, sometimes, is really messed up, but hygienic..
Since IIT Goa has the Max. Students to teacher ratio, maybe around 9:1, you can spend a lot of time discussing your work. Professors are really helping nd caring.. Its syllabus is actually quite related to IIT Bombay, as it was mentored by them in its 1st year in 2016..
Well placements have been really good for CSE, the maximum package went up to around 48 Lakhs, which is really a great deal for a college which has opened just 4years ago (According to me, As I'm writing this review in 2020)
As I have already mentioned, IIT Goa shares campus with GEC, so campus is not that good. But yeah, IIT Goa's new hostels are really great and very well maintained. You won't get any problem living in there.. And of course its all services are really good!
yes college has all necessary infrastructures for the capacity. of students it holds; classes are well equipped and whole hostel campus as well as class rooms have high speed wifi and lan, average > 100mbps, labs (physics , chemistry , mechanical as well as computer labs are well equipped.
IIT Goa follows IITB curriculum as its the mentor for IIT Goa, but I don't want it to do so (though that's my personal opinion ), In stead of copying iit Goa should make a curriculum of its own. Though its situation in most colleges that in first year everyone have to learn every subject, I really don't see a benefit though. else profs are good, specially for CSE branch at iit Goa
placements for this year isn't very good, though its first batch to be placed still its not good enough for an iit. iit Goa do not have a good coding culture that's the main reason for its poor placement.
every iit is a value for money if ur rank allows u to get into one. though fees have been hiked for general category but I see most student take scholarships somehow after coming to college (though I didn't get one, as they some how produce a low income certificate or something like that) but still the total fees is good for an engineering college
currently Iitgoa campus is temporary, but its a new temporary campus, specially hostel campus is new and personal to iit only, rest academic building and labs etc are in the campus of Goa Engineering College, in fact some of the buildings is shared between iit and GEC, but hostel is new clean and well equipped with everything including proper sports facilities, mess common areas, lavatories and bathrooms

Hello.
See it is difficult to choose one between the two. The two are very different courses have it's won perks and cons. It all depends upon you what you choose. You have to know your interests, your skills and understand what seems more interesting to you. Then comes what your rank is as you'll be selected on the basis of that. However, IIT Bombay better than IIT goa, but you need to choose the college depending upon the course that you are interested in opting for.
It is suggested you go through the list of colleges you want to apply in and make your own preference list. for example It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/OBC category is lower than the general category CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced. It should be noted the cut off for OBC/ EWS/ SC/ ST category is lower than the general category
