college infrastructure is amazing . it provides a very beautiful environment with cute surroundings , filled with greenery and flowers. it's buildings are big and beautiful. fully furnished , with centralized ac's and Wi-Fi all the time available . classrooms have white board , black board , ppts, projectors and every thing u need . a well organized gym , music room , multipurpose room , well stocked library , cafeterias , Nescafe's and canteens also. three boys hostels , three girls hostels , a community center , a main administrative building , faculty quarters , guest houses , a beautiful park and even different grounds for different games everything is there in the campus. every hostel has it's own night canteen , library and reading rooms are open for all the time during the exam days . even parking slots for cycles and other vehicles is also very organized . security is always there every time. different schools for different branches . every school has it's own labs and classrooms . mess food is also good and hygienic .
i am currently pursuing my BTech degree in the course of civil engineering . it was my dream branch that's why i choose it but still other brancjes are also very good here. teaching quality is awesome . teachers provided u with all type of sources whether online or offline for ur nees . even they takes extra classes whwnevr needed . teachers are highly motivating and supportive . ya , this study makes us ready for all our job requirements because inspite of exams it also includes labs and practical discussions on a regular basis . even the labs are mandatory to be taken .
quality of placement in my college is average only and need to be improved with time . but as it is a second generation iit , it is quite feasible because developments are going on day by day . still top companies like amazon, Microsoft comes here for placement and job opportunities . about 50% students get their placements done from here . others have to look for out campus placements . highest package as i remember is 64 lpa . but yes our college is highly supportive in this case . we also have a active entrepreneur cell for helping us .
in total a cost of 12 lakh is the cost of this course for a period of 4 years . which means about 3 lakh is the fee for a year which includes 1 lakh as tuition fee and the remaining as hostels fee and 18000 is the mess fee , which is quite ohk according to the food quality. but according to me tuition fee is somewhat expensive as we have to buy our other stuffs that are needed during the class by ourselves which leads to extra cost .
my college campus is very good and i like it a lot because here i got very good friends and it's environments is also very good . it's greenery fills you with high energy and freshness . even the sports leads you to make yourself fit and healthy . even the spots outside college are perfect for party with friends such as beach , puri temple which are near to our college . they always provides u with all the transport needed. even they give us buses for going to classrooms from our hostels
all i want to say is that i am happy with my college and branch.
IIT Bhubaneswar has a great infrastructure. It has very new buildings and infrastructure. It has all the facilities like wificonnection spread across the entire campus. High clas sports facilities and swimming areas. The hostels are good.
I have pursued Doctor of philosophy in Economics with specialization in Economics of Natural Resources. The course gets completed in the year 2023. The experience here is very good and pleasant. The professors are supportive and their guidance helped me a lot.
Placement is good at IIT Bhubaneswar. Almost 90 to 95 percent students got placed and the average salary offered is around Rs 16 lakhs per annum with the highest being Rs 30 lakhs per annum. The college is supportive round the placement process.
The college infrastructure is very good. The college has all the facilities like air conditioning, wifi, smartboard and sound facilities in the classrooms. Laboratories have the best instruments and are available for use to students.
When it comes to academics then the name IIT is enough. The academics is very great. I am currently enrolled in Civil engineering and in second year of the the four year B.Tech course. The teaching quality is great. Curriculum have all the developments in the field.
The placements at IIT Bhubhaneshwar is outstanding. The average placement here is around 13 lakhs per annum in Civil and the branch highest package is around 39 lakhs per annum. Almost all the students get placed. The college is very much supportive.
the college infrastructure is good and green. campus having all the facilities that students need. having different buildings having great structures and different canteen available for basics needs which is needed.
teachers are experienced and well-educated. teachers are friendly and easygoing. due to its friendly nature, doubts can arise with proper information easily solved. opportunity is great here for academics.
placements are good depending on the companies which are every year. so basically it depends on the company which is coming in a particular year. companies also depend on which department they are hiring the student.
It is not that much compared to private colleges or other institutes. College is overall good, but what is lacking in some places is worth the money. It is a good college compared to other colleges; after all, it is IIT.
All the sports complexes are present. Food courts are fewer in number. Activities are good—not so great, but still okay. teachers and staff support is good by nature and helpful
The college is in the second phase of infrastructure development. All the basic and required amenities and lab facilities and other educational requirements are constructed but the additional facilities like the amphitheatre and the swimming pools are in the construction phase and are yet to be complete in one year.
The courses in itself are very rigorous and practical but academics are not flexible in this campus. The curriculum is not completely outdated and is being revised accordingly year on year. The major problem is when someone wants to study something different from his course, the institute doesn't have sufficient flexibility.
The overall placement scenario is quite good where almost everyone interested can get placed. The average compensation can be expected around 14 lpa and with good skills can easily get more than 18 lpa.
Considering that the overall cost including the fee and expenses comes out be between 12 lakhs to 15 lakhs and the placement can mostly cover this cost in a year or most of the time less than a year, the ROI is good.
The campus is on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The nearby area is not much developed and the nearest malls are more than 25km away. The campus life is good but not the best. The nightlife in the campus is almost non-existent. The campus is beautiful with 1000 acres.
Overall the college is good to be chosen over most of the other iits but is not worth choosing over places with better placements and campus life. The campus will teach us a lot of things and being humble is one of them.
Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT BBS) is one of the new IITs, and has been developing at a steady pace. As for its campus, It has around 940 acres of land but yet has not put it into use properly, there are many construction on the way and around maybe 7 or 8 years it does have the potential to turn it into a magnificent campus.
The academics and faculties here are I would say above average, even though the classrooms are very below expected for an IIT, it has its quality regarding academics. The staff and faculties help each and every one of us for better understanding.
Regarding placements, for the last recent years it has been decreasing and its rank has been decreased to 47 in nirf ranking in engineering college. As of right now I would say IIT BBS is ont its downfall.
IIT Bhubaneswar's infrastructure is a bit lacking, receiving a 2 out of 5. While it has essential facilities, there's room for improvement in terms of modernization and creating a more vibrant campus atmosphere.
With a rating of 4 out of 5, IIT Bhubaneswar showcases strong academics. The institution offers a comprehensive and enriching learning experience, with knowledgeable faculty and a well-structured curriculum.
IIT Bhubaneswar fares well in placements, earning a 4 out of 5. Many students secure promising job offers, showcasing the institution's efforts to connect students with reputable companies. Many big tech gaints like google visit here
the institution might have basic facilities in place, it seems to lag behind in providing state-of-the-art infrastructure that matches the standards of other top institutions. Facilities such as modernized classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a vibrant campus atmosphere are essential for holistic learning, and there might be a need for further investments in this aspect. Improving the infrastructure could enhance the overall educational experience for students.
The institution offers a range of technical and engineering programs with a faculty known for their expertise in various fields. While the curriculum is comprehensive and designed to provide a strong foundation, some students may find that certain courses lack depth or practical relevance. The overall academic environment is conducive to learning, but there might be room for improvement in terms of research opportunities, interdisciplinary studies, and more industry-oriented approaches.
The placement aspect of IIT Bhubaneswar is its weakest point, The institution appears to face challenges in providing satisfactory placement opportunities to its students. Factors such as industry connections, career counseling, and skill development programs may need to be strengthened to better prepare students for the job market.
As a current student at IIT Bhubaneswar, I find it necessary to shed light on certain aspects that need improvement within the institution. While the academic pursuit is promising, there are concerns that hinder the overall experience. Firstly, the presence of underutilized space across the campus raises questions about its optimal usage. These spaces could be transformed into recreational areas or additional academic facilities, enhancing the overall environment for learning and growth.
IIT Bhubaneswar's academic quality is commendable, with a strong theoretical foundation. However, a notable drawback is the lack of emphasis on practical application in the curriculum. While the theoretical knowledge is comprehensive, the absence of practical components diminishes the overall learning experience. Balancing theoretical rigor with hands-on application could greatly enhance the students' preparedness for real-world challenges.
IIT Bhubaneswar's placement efforts are a mixed bag. On the positive side, the institute has fostered connections with notable companies, leading to promising opportunities for students. However, there's room for improvement. The placement process could benefit from more structured guidance and support to ensure students are well-prepared. Additionally, diversifying industries and profiles offered would enhance the overall placement experience.
IIT Bhubaneswar's campus combines modern design with nature, creating a beautiful setting. Classrooms, labs, and hostels are top-notch, and eco-friendly features show a commitment to sustainability. Overall, it good
IIT Bhubaneswar offers cutting-edge courses taught by expert faculty. Learning is hands-on and geared towards critical thinking, ensuring a well-rounded education. Labs are very good and makes students to learn
With strong industry ties, IIT Bhubaneswar excels in placing students in top companies. The institute's focus on skill-building leads to impressive career opportunities for graduates. Many big tech companies used to visit here

Definitely I will give preference to nit Warangal civil. It is the best among best .
Infrastructure and campus of NITW are one of the best in India. The academic building is well-facilitated and well-constructed. Hostels are very good in infrastructure and with a proper facility, and it is the largest hostel in India. This college has the best civil engineering department among all NITs .
Thanking you
