Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad Placement Process

Stage 1: IIIT Dharwad Placement Cell approaches various companies to find placement opportunities. The faculty and coordinator talk to the companies and their recruitment departments and invite them to the placement drive.

Stage 2: Those companies, who accept the invitation, discuss their job description and their requirements with the career guidance cell. They also fix the placement drive date and time.

Stage 3: The students are notified of the details of the upcoming placement drive. They are provided with a student recruitment form on the college portal. The students will have to register their name and their details with the CGC.

Stage 4: The company will arrive at the college on the notified date and time and will hold a pre-placement talk with the students. Then the entire process of test and interview will take place.

Stage 5: On the very same day, the company will announce the names of the selected students. In case of not announcing the name on the same day, the students will be allowed to appear in other placements. However, if the name of a student is selected for a position, then they will not be allowed to appear in any other placement.

Stage 6: The offer letter should be provided to the career guidance cell by the company to be given to the students. The companies are not allowed to give the offer letter directly to the candidate.

The placements of the campus are really good. I recently got placed in tcs. This was a campus placement. The package was also quite good, one thing is that you have to have good cgpa to get a good placement.

This aspect of placements disappointed me as IIIT Dharwad only accepts companies that give an annual package of more than 6,00,000. Considering this aspect, people who aim for a package less than 6LPA or below average students, would find it difficult to achieve.

The complete fee structure for semesters 1 to 8 at IIIT Dharwad is as follows:

- Tuition fees for the 1st and 2nd semesters: 80,000 each.

- Tuition fees for the 3rd to 8th semesters: 1,00,000 each semester.

- One-time admission fee: 10,000.

- Refundable caution deposit: 20,000.

-Hostel fees: 20,000 per semester.

Hello,

In general, CBIT in Hyderabad is a wise choice.

The placements are excellent.In the years 2021–2022, organisations such as Microsoft, JPMC, Capgemini, Infosys, Orient Cement, and many others came for placements.A candidate was hired and received from Microsoft a package of 45 LPA. A typical package contains roughly 7 LPA. Last year, more than 80% of students were placed.
The facilities are excellent.
Professors are excellent and knowledgeable in the subjects they teach.

You should join at CBIT Hyderabad, in my opinion.
