IIITDM Kancheepuram Placement Process

Invitations are being sent to the companies for the placement drive to be conducted at IIITDM Kancheepuram along with the Employer registration form and Placement Brochure.
Employers revert back with a filled-in registration form to the IIITDM Kancheepuram Placement team.
Memorandum of understanding and the dates of the PPT are exchanged between the IIITDM Kancheepuram placement team and the employers.
The pre-placement procedure is informed and the students will revert back with their interest of choice in a particular organisation.
The number of shortlisted candidates is sent to the IIITDM Kancheepuram Placement and Training Cell.
Companies visit the campus and conduct Group discussions, technical and aptitude tests and interviews.
The final list of selections is displayed on the notice board on the very same day.

Note: Students having 3 or more course backlogs on completion of semester 6/8/2 for BTech, Dual Degree, MTech and respectively are not eligible to register for placement. In case a student clears excess backlogs in the 7/9/3 semester, he will be permitted to register for Placements.

IIITDM Kancheepuram placements 2022 conclude that placements of 97% from more than 102 participating companies. A total of 279 job offers were made to the 286 participating students. Indian Institute of Information Technology, the highest package stood at 42 LPA

The placements has been increased a lot since last year despite of covid. Highest package was around some 50 LPA(off campus) and 22 LPA (in campus) and an average package of 10LPA .Every one who registered for the placement cell got placed in campus.

IIIT Kancheepuram or Kottayam or Delhi OR NIT Calicut best for ECE?

See if you want to enjoy an urban life with very good placements after you pass out and awesome internships, then IIIT Delhi is the way to go. The only demerit is that fees of IIIT Delhi is very high for a normal middle class person, but if you take an education loan, then paying it off will be very easy as you'll be earning very handsomely after it.

But if you want the same good facilities with less fees, the NIT Calicut is a very good option due to it's reputation in the industry.
