IIIT Vadodara Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

Well, you may know IIIT Vadodara is established in 2013 and doesn't have its own campus till now. Then where are classes going? Our classes are going at GEC Gandhinagar (Government Engineer college). Where are our hostels? Our current hostel is in sabar institute of technology which is around 30 km from Gandhinagar. For permanent campus we have to wait for 5 to 6 years.

Teaching quality is good because professors are experienced. Our curriculum is updated and include all the recent developments in the field. We have good coding culture. Everyone try to compete with each. We have Coding club and all other clubs.

Placements are outstanding. Last year highest package from our institute was about 15 lakh/yrs and average package was 6 lakh/yrs. Placements in this year 2019-2020 are way more surprising, because the highest package offered is 36 lakh/yrs and average package is 11.9 lakh/yrs with 100% placement statistics.

IIITV does not have its own campus you will not find all infrastructure and facility here and classes are for first year held in sabar institute of technology where you will not find so much facility. Food is hygienic and food quality is good.

Curriculum of IIITV is relevant and according to stream. Unlike to IIT and NIT there is no need to read all subject of engineering in first year. There is five subject in the curriculum of first year and all are relevant to CSE and IT. as it is offering only two stream in B.Tech.

Over all placements of IIITV is good. highest and average package is increasing every year and placement cell of IIITV is awesome. In academic year 2019-2020 highest CTC is INR 36 Lacs and average CTC is INR 11 lacs.

Fee of IIITV is very high as compare to IIT and NIT. And sometime you feel that you are not getting according to your money.

Campus life in IIITV is not so good. As IIITV doesn't have its own campus so you do not get so much facility in campus. But there is various club and they organize various activity in which you can take part and sports club also is very active.As IIITV hostel is in sabar institute of information technology which is located in remote location. sometime you will find snake in campus and dog in classes because of its remote location.There is only one emergency vehicle in the institute.

Seniors of IIITV is very nice and helpful and overall IIITV is doing very well among all other newly established IIITV.

This institute dont has its own campus the academic related activities are performed in the rented GEC campus block and the hostel student resides in the rented institute which is Sabar institute of technology.

Academic are quite good especially the maths and CSE faculty focuses on understand of the every new concepts arrives with every new units . Institute mainly focuses on learning and testing means they teaches you and takes exams.

The placemt cell of Indian institute of information technology Vadodara is pride of the institute as the placement of the year 2019-2020 only says it have a look at the institute website for having a placemt analysis.

As the institute Indian institute of information technology Vadodara is a institute under MHRD but still it works under PPP mode which is public private partnership so the fees of this institute is quite high comparing to other IIIT.

Campus life is one thing which you associates is with the campus of the institute but Indian institute of information technology Vadodara don't has it own campus it acadmic activities takes place in GEC block.

The college operates on a temporary campus at Gandhinagar. The facilities are well maintained. The food is hygienic and is provided by Jaiswal Caterers. Mess is hygenic and food is of above average taste. Hostel has 3 seaters and 4 seaters available.

The curriculum is more inclined towards Computer Science and Information Technology in the first year as compared to that of other engineering colleges who have the same curriculum for all branches during the first year. It is industry oriented. All the faculties have a Phd in their domains. The courses are more practical and all the courses are supported with lab hours everyday of the scheduled course.

The Placements at IIITV are becoming better year by year. Product based companies like amazon, adobe, Mathwork Quikr, Siemens, ICICI bank, Sigmoid and more have visited for placements. The highest CTC was 36 lacs, average CTC was 11 lacs for academic year 2019-2020. Total 30 companies visited the institute for placements. It has 100% placements for BTech CSE and IT branch for the academic year 2019-2020.

Yes, it is worth for the money you pay.

Even though it doesn't has a permanent campus but you will never feel it's absence. IIITV has a lot of Student Activity Clubs be it cultural, technical and sports. IIITV also has a very good coding culture. Coding Club here is really active and introduces the freshers very nicely to the world of Competitive Programming, web development and other domains. it has it's own cultural fest - KREIVA and also it's own technical fest - CEREBRO. The Student activity clubs are an integral part of campus.

Overall the Institute is good and is the fastest growing IIIT among the newly established ones.
