IIIT Kota Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

My college has all the necessary facilities, infrastructure and equipment. The classrooms are well air-conditioned and there is wi-fi all around the campus. Students are provided with good sports facilities, libraries and CC in which we can spend the whole day on our projects or anything.

I am currently pursuing B.tech in Computer Science. I have an interest in this subject that's why I opted it. We have only two branches- Computer Science and Electronics. Quality of teaching here is very good and I love it.

Quality of placements here is good. Around 80% of students get placed and even students who are from Electronics branch also get placed in IT companies and that too with good package. We sit for placements under the influence of MNIT so placements are good, Average package is around 8 LPA.

IIIT-Kota is residing in MNIT Jaipur Campus and taking advantages of this point. We are being provided Eco-friendly Campus, Step Classrooms (in Asia's Largest Lecture Complex - VLTC) along with white and green boards and 2 projectors, Computer Centre (24 Hours open) , Sport Complex, Canteens, Library, Hostels (Poor Network and No Internet Facility in some Hostels), WiFi in Library and Labs, Labs, Auditorium and Open Air Stage.

Curriculum is updated, still as we all know that there are many subjects in engineering which don't even used in real field, that are just made for increasing our struggle. I would rate faculties 2 out of 5. But, it doesn't matter as I said, many subjects have no use. Just prepare for Core Subjects and do well placements. I hope we'll get experienced faculty after our college get shifted.

I'm second year student and I have seen many students being placed from our college. We got wonderful seniors and placement team, they help students by alerting them about the available opportunities. Average 70% students get placed. Highest package I know was 25 Lakh annually. Also one important thing is we get opportunity to sit with MNIT Students in placement. Sometimes we face partiality, but don't morose, Enviousness of others is the sign of being popular, be confident.

I would rate 0 but it's not possible. Truth is little bit bitter. I do not like to spend 2.5 Lakh per 8 months (excluding holidays and including bunks) just for land on which I live, Electricity, Food, Water Facility and some moderately luxurious furniture. Generally most of the students remain in either college building, hostel, computer centre and library. Also after giving this much we have to put our 100% efforts in studying for good placements. So overall it's not wise decision.

IIIT Kota have it's own clubs and there clubs members are active. They used to organise various activities.

Since its start IIIT Kota is at MNIT Jaipur campus and thus we are enjoying at the lavishing 300 acres lush green campus.We are being provided with all the facilities 24*7 wifi(not at hostels where the internet connection is very bad),Computer Center,Sport Complex,triple sharing rooms in the hostels.AC is present in the classrooms with dual projectors.Labs are available with all the equipments.

Faculty here is quite supportive and are highly educated and skilled in their respective fields.The course curriculum is up to date as per the MHRD guidelines and much better than the other colleges and quite focuses on the coding skills.We get to study Data Structures in the first year itself.Several workshops are being organised by the seniors on the weekends from time to time.

Placement is good if your coding and soft skills are good with average package around 10lakhs per annum with companies such as Amazon and Goldman Sacs visiting the campus.This year Amazon took 5 seniors for internship which is very good sign seeing the college is new.

The fees of our course is 2.5 lakh per year which is not worth it as more hands on experience is needed.

Regular events and workshops makes our life quite interesting and busy here.Sport complex is open from 4-5 for IIIT kota students where they can play any game as per their wish.

College provides chances,rest is up to you.

The infrastructure is quite good here as we are still staying with our Mentor college (MNIT Jaipur).Computer centre is open 24*7.We reside in Ganga Hostel which is the best hostel in the campus with triple sharing rooms for the first year students.Classrooms too are well maintained with air conditioner,and two projectors.Faculty members conduct labs properly and the equipments are well maintained.

Curriculum is updated as per the MHRD guidelines and is on the level with the IITs.We get to learn and polish our coding skills from the first year itself,with seniors taking workshops every weekend.All the teachers are well qualified and skilled with the knowledge in their area.We get to learn the core subjects in the first year itself.IT workshop are conducted every weekend and are their in each semester in which to learn some latest skills.

The overall placement stats of our college are quite good.Placement Of ECE branch too are increasing with every passing year with approx 90% of the seniors placed this year.Average package this year was about 10lakhs per annum with highest going to the CSE branch(30lakh per annum).Placement cell is quite helpful and tries it's best to get students sit in the placement procedure atleast.

Course costs approx 2.5lakhs per year and as we get the facilities of MNIT Jaipur that is totally worth it.The exposure that you get in this college is quite impressive and for that the college is definitely worth it.

As we share the campus life with three colleges which is both the best and worst part of it.Students can give the ideas to the faculty and if they like it,they support it.Many activities take place here such as college fests,blood donation,alumini meet etc.Student can engage with different clubs present in the college.

The best part is that we can engage ourselves in any club of the three colleges present in the campus.As the campus is present in the mid of the city,it is cherry on the top.Security members take full care of the students.

Iiit have not have its own campus. Currently we are residing in mnit campus , jaipur. All the facilities like library , computer center , sports center are of mnit and we are not at all restricted to use them.

Iiit Hydrabad curriculum is used here. Quality of teaching is good. Curriculum is being updated again. For job , you have to study on your own as IT field demands more than written in books and taught in college.

Placements , as we are in mnit campus , are good as of now. All students , who want placement , get placed. Many companies come and hire students on the average package of 8-10 lakh per annum and highest package goes up to 28 lakh per annum. Ece students are also placed in IT companies.

Course is expensive. Lab don't have proper equipments. Clubs also get money funded after much of choas.

Campus is nice. Have all the facilities in or around the campus. Teachers staff os also very helpful. Location is very much beautiful and have famous markets , lounges , parks , malls , temples , and everything you need to have a good life.

Iiit kota use mnit jaipur (nit jaipur) campus. Gym timimg for iiit students are 4-5PM , No lan in hostel.but we have 24/7 computer center . With good internet connection .food in hostel is also good. We can use mnit sport groups without are issue.

Cource of iiit kota is good . We learn data structures in 1 year . But mostly teacher are not able to teach properly . Most of student do study from youtube /udemy etc . Serious also help u in learning new skill like web d , ml , AI ETC

Good placement because of mnit . Iiit kota share placement cell with mnit(nit jaipur). But when iiit kota shift in kota . We may face problems in placement but it take 5 year minimum thanks to slow work of government

15 lakh for your b.tech . And if u code properly u can earn 1lk/month after collage.

College have all the necessary infrastructure as it is being running in MNIT Jaipur campus. All academic buildings have WiFi connection and hostel have lab connectivity. MNIT Jaipur campus is lush green and clean.

Academic course is very new and upto date which other government institutions lack behind. teachings staff is very cooperative. All the academic study books are provided by the institute library itself.

More than 75% placement status. Some students got above 25lac per annum with highest of 30lac per annum. Recruiting company are all tech gaints. And average is around 10lac per annum which is a good average for a new institute.

Of course value for money with good placements and best course. Only problem is high fee as compared to IIT and NIT.

Very good campus life. I recommend one to take hostel. Campus is located in city area mall and marketing places at walking distance.

Overall fee worthy if not able to get admission in MNIT Jaipur move to IIIT KOTA.

It has a good infrastructure, and has all the needed facilities that a college infrastructure plan should adhere to. Mentor Institute MNIT Jaipur, is good with infrastructure and has all the basic facilities required.

The course is really good but is very rigorous, projects and lots of theoretical concepts can result in a lot of bulk onto the shoulders of the student at IIIT Kota, but the curriculum is really good and gears up student with all the needed knowledge.

The placement includes a collaboration with the placement cell of the mentor institute of MNIT Jaipur, hence the placements are quite well. We have companies including Amazon, DE Shaw, Flipkart, JP Morgan and chase, etc. These are good companies for any college as part of recruiters.

It is quite less value than they ask for, the facilities aren't exactly in compliance to what we pay them for.22

Excellent campus lifestyle.

IIIT Kota can be a very good college for any student provided they are there to actually learn and face hardship. it is a good college overall.

The college doesn't have it's own campus (under construction), currently operates in campus of MNIT Jaipur. All the facilities are available eg. Sports complex, 24×7 computer laboratories, WiFi connectivity, canteens. The classrooms are also good and air conditioned. Their is a central library of MNIT and one of our own institute (it is comparatively smaller but owns newer and relevant books). The hostels are good but boys hostel lacks furnishing fulfilment, which will be rectified soon.

I am doing B.Tech in ECE. The curriculum is very well curated, like all other IIITs, it is up to date and advanced. The most star rating is because of it. The teaching faculty is a mixture of some really good teachers and some not so good one's like in all other institutes. The book bank provides with books of latest and prevailing technologies and mostly it's up to the student how well one performs because unlike schools, there is no spoon feeding in colleges.

I am yet to sit in my placements but the statistics show that the percentage of students getting places of those who applied for it is pretty good for CSE. The highest package also went to student of CSE. The average package is also quite promising. One benifit that we have currently is that we are able to sit for the companies that come in MNIT for placements. The college is under PPP mode and thus has to fulfill of its financial requirements itself and has to be self-reliant. Thus, the fees may seem a bit higher as compared to NITs but it is worth that. The average cost per year is 2-2.3 lakhs per year for me.

The location of the MNIT Jaipur campus is very good. The biggest mall of the city is within 5km radius. The railway station and airport are also very close to the campus. Other than that the college life is AMAZING and fulfilling with the large campus full of open areas and beautiful gardens. The students get to enjoy all the lively fests of MNIT as an added benifit. The campus has a dispensary & ambulance for all sorts of medical requirements. The campus is safe & under surveillance.

It is a good place to explore yourself during 4 years of graduation.

Infrastructure is good , all facilities are provided Laboratories are well equipped with all the facilities, classroom are perfect for concentrative study , hostels are ideal with clean water and food.

We study exactly what we should study , curriculum is best with all the required courses and knowledge, which helps us transform into a better engineer , well updated and makes us perfectly job ready .

Our college produces the best engineers which companies demand for and therefore it has the best placement offers , almost all the students gets placements with awesome packages and best average ever .
