IIIT Kota Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

We live in mnit campus as campus of iiit Kota is still under construction. Mnit campus is around 320 acre large .Mess food is average.some hostels are really old but some are quite new.we have free Wi-Fi access and all laboratories are air conditioned and sports -ground is also quite big.

Our course is better from nit's and iit's as we have no subject as a physics ,chemistry etc. But our teachers are with less experince as our college is new . We cannot rely on our teachers for placement that's all I want to say.

Placements are quite good last year.As we allowed to sit with mnit for placement. in mnit many big tech Giants come and recruit students .we can get benefits from their placement cell and as our course are far better then their we get advantage when companies come.

Basicaly we are refugees in Mentor institute Mnit jaipur, We take benefit of many things available at Mnit Jaipur still there are some restriction, for example lets take GYM and other sports facilities etc. limited access is given to us. And when the college is shifted to its permanent campus many things will be compromised

You can not expect anything from faculty you have to be a lone wolf. overall curriculum is good but Some courses are still there which should not be even studying those you will think why should i am doing this. In Ece if you are trying for the IT sector You have to work hard and smartly managing both the academics and the coding stuff.

All depends on the mentor institute and they decide if you will be allowed to sit for the company or not and you cannot argue with them. Survival of the fittest, in Ece placement is not good enough as it is for Cse.

Fee is too high as compared to other IIITs which are even better than this college. And many thing you have to compromise here.

We enjoy the college fest of mentor institute Mnit jaipur and thats the best part. IIIT's own fest is really bad and poorly funded so you cant expect anything just enjoy the Mnit's fest and chill. Very poor Internet facility in Hostels no solution to this problem even if complain many times they don't take it seriously and advice you to go to computer centre, if you are lucky you may enjoy the net speed. Hostel mess is good or not depends on which hostel you are alloted, for 1st yr 3seater room.

Every thing has its own pros and cons so you may decide yourself.

Well talking about infrastructure , so i have a single word for it i.e, brilliant.As the college is well settled it have all the facilities regarding to practical laboratories or either library.The whole thing is very systematic and almost all facilities are available Hostels are well hygienic and maintained by care takers.

It is the most important part of any educational institute so it should be up to the mark and you can find it here . The teachers are well qualified and experienced.They are very supportive and motivational for the students.The syllabus is very informative and practical.

About placement i must say it is quite descent. The average package is about 17 lpa for the year 2019.So as you can see it gibes you opportunities to fulfill your dreams.The only problem is that MNC'S generally don't take as much students in the placement but overall it is descent.

In a total i must say that it is being a satisfying experience in the institute.

The permanent campus has not been built yet.We are residing and being offered every service that is been provided by our Mentor institute (MNIT JAIPUR).24 hour wifi, lavishly green campus,well furnished classrooms,and hygienic food are some of important things that are being provided.Hostels are well maintained and our safety is being taken care by Rajasthan police.Sports complex is open to us but have timings.

We have two branches here(CSE and ECE).The curriculum is great with extra focus on English spoken skills.Teachers are highly skilled having done Ph.d. from prestigious colleges.Also we have full support of seniors who usually give their weekend in teaching us some important skills(web development,robotics classes, Competitive programming etc.)

As the college is new,we do not have that great placements but still they are improving with every passing batch.Average package this year was approx 9lakhs per annum and highest 30 lakhs approx going to CSE branch.Talking about internship not everyone is provided with that(only 50%).As told by the seniors every student was placed in reputed companies except some who had decided to go for further studies.

The cost of both CSE and ECE branch is similar i.e.,approx 3 lakhs per annum,which is definitely worth it as we are given every opportunity to explore ourselves be it any startup idea.

Being in the campus shared by three colleges,Campus life at IIIT KOTA is great.We can take part in any activity being organised by any college and explore ourselves.We also participate in various competitions across the country and are fully supported in doing so.

You should definitely join the college as the opportunities here are huge and take the advantage of all the three college inside the campus.Starting from the Orientation session the college will make you feel home.

IIIT Kota is one of the leading iiit in coming years. We don't have our own campus till now ,but IIIT Kota running in NIT jaipur (MNIT) and it's infrastructure and facilities are very pleased and we iiitian use all of this facilities. Classroom is well equipped with two projectors , Central Air conditioning. iiit Kota have their own book bank which provides all necessary book for semester exam. Coming on hostel facilities , In hostel three students live in one roon for first year.

In IIIT Kota coding culture is very good in point of seminar , workshop and faculty. I think all teachers in IIIT Kota passionate about teaching. They take extra class if they want to teach some thing extra or new. Our curriculum is upgraded with compare to NIT and IIT. Our avarage package is around 8 to 9 lakhs per annum. If we see only for computer science their placement touches to the 11 to 12 lakhs per annum.

As of now (2020) our present campus is in NIT jaipur (MNIT). Every company which comes for placement in MNIT they come also for IIIT KOTA. I think it's very good for placement. Last year in 2019, 5 student selected for internship in Amazon and 5 gets salary above 20 lakh per annum.

Our academy fees is around 1.25 lakhs per semester. And it's a same as all iiits in india.

IIIT Kota is in MNIT campus. And it's a very huge around 350 acres. It's contain all facilities like ground, Gym, library, Centra computer center.

As of now,IIIT Kota doesn't have its permanent Campus.It is being operated from its mentor Institute and thus IIIT Kota and MNIT Students enjoy the same luxury although we have been given the timings in which we can play/Gym,rest everything is common.The food at the mess is good and hygenic.We have very good classrooms with air conditioners and labs with projectors.There are also canteens and stores inside the campus.

The curriculum here at IIIT KOTA is much better compared to the other colleges in India.We get to study the core subjects in first year itself.And are given total opportunity to explore ourselves starting from the 5 day Orientaton in beginning.Faculties here are well qualified and all of them did their Ph.D. from prestigious Institutions.

Placement offered is great if you are hardworking and good at Competitive platforms.Around 100% of CSE and 80% of ECE students are placed every year.Average salary offered is around 9 lakhs per annum,highest being 29lakhs per annum(CSE).Students are placed in top companies such as Amazon,Goldman Sacs etc.Many of the seniors were given PPOs.

Course costs approx 3 lakhs per year which is worth the money as we are residing inside the MNIT Jaipur's Campus and we can access all the services provided by MNIT.

There are many cultural and technical clubs in which one can take part.We participate in various sports and other cultural activities across India.If you have any startup idea you can take help of MIIC where you can spend your time developing your start-up and if it is good enough then may even get the financial support from MIIC.

I would definitely suggest the college as Course Curriculum here is great.Placement too are increasing every passing year and security of students is taken care of.

Yes, my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We have wi-fi in our hostels as well as in classrooms and college premises, they work fine. We have a library in which books are available for reading and we can tell the librarian to bring the desired books. The living spaces and the food is hygienic.

I am currently pursuing B.tech in computer science because I love computer science engineering. Quality of teaching is average. Yes, our curriculum is updated regularly and it includes all the recent developments in the field. Yes, What I study makes me job-ready.

The quality of placements as well as internships is quite good. 70% to 85% students are placed. I think the highest package this year is 30 lacs per annum and the student was from computer science stream. Average salary offered is 6 lacs per annum. Yes, my college was supportive.
