IIIT-J is older than NIT-T which is yet to stand on its own feet. So if you have to choose between these 2 only choose IIIT-J. I would certainly say that if you have the option of going to a decent local college, take it.

As your marks in nearest to 95% then there is a little chance for you to get admission in IIIT DM Mumbai for B.tech in information technology or computer science engineering. Because the marks you have got in HS examination and board examination is very low as it is only 52%.
