About NIT Agartala
National Institute of Technology Agartala (NITA or NIT Agartala) is one of the leading engineering institutions, formerly Tripura Engineering College was recognised by the government of India as the Institute of National Importance on April 1, 2006.
NIT Agartala offers courses in the field of engineering and technology. Some of the NIT Agartala courses are B.Tech, B.Tech-M.Tech (dual degree), BS-MS, M.Tech, MCA, MBA and many other courses are offered. B.Tech fee of the National Institute of Technology Agartala ranges from Rs 5.63 lakhs. NIT Agartala fee structure ranges from Rs 50,900 to Rs 5.63 lakhs.
NIT Agartala campus area in acres is 366 acres. Admission for the academic year 2024-25 to undergraduate programmes at the National Institute of Technology Agartala is based on scores of JEE Main. College Infrastructure
The campus is equipped with all the necessary infrastructure required. Everything is present inside the campus, e.g., a market, restaurant, shops, etc. All hostels have Wi-Fi (but it has data limitations). There is no problem of water scarcity. Canteens are good in number, as mess food is very poor and gets boring in a month. For sports, there are plenty of grounds for every game. Medical facilities are also available inside the campus but can only provide treatment for minor diseases.

To get a seat.in any NIT candidates has to appear inJee mains exam with a sc ore of atleast 90 percentile of marks for general candidate.But for EWS candidates the percentile of marks in jee mains is 85-80 percentile of marks in jee mains for below category NIT like NIT Goa,NIT Hamirpur,NIT Agartala,NIT Srinagar,NIT Nagpur,NIT Silchar,the rank required for these NITs mentioned above within aiq 30,000.As you have the rank of 28,000 in jee mains so you have a chance for admission in any of the NITs among 31NITs in India.
