NIT Manipur has really good infrastructure for our course. Students were provided with all the necessary facilities at this college. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, computer labs, hostel, sports and all other facilities were given to the students and properly managed by the college management. The food in the canteen and mess was good to eat at an affordable price.
Some of the faculty members are really good at our college. The curriculum is updated with new technologies. In each semester, there are at least 2 tests, one midterm and one endterm exam for each subject and at least 40 marks to pass out of the total.
I am enrolled in the Computer Science and Engineering branch; the placement record of my branch is the highest, i.e., 100%; the average package is 10 LPA. A good number of students get internships in the 6th semester or in the 7th semester. Last year, the highest package was 47 LPA.
Very good college in Manipur.
My college which is NIT MANIPUR is having a decent infrastructure all the necessary things are provided to us in the hostel like Almirah, Chair and Table, and wifi facility is their in each hostel. The infrastructure can be improved..
The college is nice in the academic reference as mostly students are comfortable with teachers specially in the Computer Science Department, we as students get a lot of knowledge from the subject faculties which helps a lot..
Placements is what attracts students to NIT MANIPUR last to last year the highest package was from Amazon (47 lpa) and a good no. of students got more than a 15 lpa package which was mainly from CSE and ECE branches..
The NIT Manipur College infrastructure is too bad for sure. Their is always water logging in the campus in june-july and students have to suffer because of this. Their is wifi facility in hostel and their is mess but the it offers very low quality food.
It is quite good in academic side and that's one of the reason mostly people choose it. Some of the teachers doesn't teach that much well. The curriculum of the btech course is updated but some things should be changed with the new technologies
The placements records of NIT Manipur have been great from last 4 years even in big companies also students get hired.. The average was quite low this year being 8-9 lpa. And I hope it will improve in the coming years
When I was a student at National Institute Of Technology Manipur, the college was having the required no. of classrooms and Laboratories. Although, the hostels were under construction. The mess food was very bad at my college.
When I was a student, I got some great teachers, I think some of them might be teaching now also in the college. The curriculum was the same, some changes were made when I was in my third year. In my branch the size of the class was around 30 students.
For the core branches the placements opportunities were quite short but else for the IT branches it was increasing with each coming year. The average package in my branch has also increased from last year.
The college infrastructure is very average. In rainy season the campus looks like a swimming pool. Their is hostel and mess facility available, but for sure mess food is not good at all. Their are laboratories in my college.
I am Computer Science and Engineering Branch student , and teachers are good and very much qualified. Earlier I was in mechanical branch, and I did change my branch based on the cgpa, which should be around 9,if you want to change your branch.
The placements mainly in CSE and ECE branch are very good. Last year one of our girl senior got into Amazon with an amazing package. The percentage of placement overall is very nice. And you get some good opportunities in the on-campus placements.
The college is having some basic level of infrastructure and other facilities, honestly I don't like the infrastructure of class rooms at all. Although they are building some new ones that are better.. In hostel their is facility of wifi but not in class rooms..
I am studying in mechanical branch which I always wanted to pursue. The quality of teaching at NIT Manipur is good as I would say the faculty is very good here at NIT. In my branch their are around 35 students and if I say about the curriculum then it is updated at regular interval of time...
The quality of placements is decreased this year. Till last year the CSE, ECE students were placed completely while for EE, ME AND CE branches the placements were around 70-80% but this although seniors are getting jobs but at low lpa..
Definitely...
Very nice....
Talking about the college Infrastructure it is not good at all. Their is water logging inside the campus in rainy season. Also some classrooms are not properly constructed and smart boards in them do not work at all...
Talking about the academics facilities, I am a student of Computer Science and Engineering branch and teachers in my branch are well qualified , and if I talk about the curriculum so that is up to date..
Placements is one of the most important thing for us. And our college performs good in that, for my branch the placement was 100 percent and for other branches the placements were also good for eg: All students from ECE branch were placed..
Infrastructure of NITMN is descent you will get proper lab facility , library facility , sports facilities , you will get disappoint with the infrastructure of classroom . The condition here is worst in rainy season.
Academics of NITMN is good , the teachers are well qualified and very experienced in their field . The syllabus taught here is industry demanding , here you will get internship opportunities and pre placement offer.
Placement of nitmn is quite impressive last year the highest package was 47 lpa , median was 9.8 lpa . Total 37 companies visited and 147 offered were made . Total 90% of the students got placed who sit for placement.
When you will compare this collage as per value for money it's great as it's a national institute , fee is quite impressive , and have a very good placement record and you will get to explore here alot.
Campus life is descent cultural fest is celebrated every year , many clubs are there for different extracurricular , you will get great sports facility and most amazing of all you will get friends from different parts of india and you will get to enjoy alot with them.
My college i.e NIT Manipur is situated in imphal west. The infrastructure of my college is average, their is one academic section and a good no. of lecture halls in the college. Their is wifi facility in the hostel and also smart boards in lecture halls.
My college is having some very good teachers as I belong to civil branch their are good teachers in labs also. Both female and male faculties are their in the college. Overall it's very good to study in my college...
The placement in our college are very good, also their is 100% placement for CSE and ECE branches and other branches also have a quite nice average package. This year the placement were quite less and their is decrement in the average package..
If I talk about the infrastructure it is not good at all, only one or two buildings are their that are ok, else are bad. Also they are constructing new buildings nowadays and also doing some renovation at the college...
I am Electronics and Communication branch student at NIT Manipur. The curriculum is updated and new technologies are also introduced in the college. As a ECE branch student we get quite good practical knowledge, labs are also good...
The placements are good at NIT Manipur. If I specifically talk about the placements of my branch than that are close to 100% , the placements were amazing till last, but this year that are affected by recession quite a bit...
My college gives good Return Of Investment as the academic fee for the overall 8 sem in btech is approx to Rs 5,40,000. And if we talk about the hostel & mess fee that you have to pay separately if you do not live in a range of 15km..
The campus life is amazing at NIT Manipur. The clouds, the mountains and the long open grounds gives amazing views to everyone. Also, their are shops near the college and everything is quite available to us..
Hello Aspirant ,
This branch is something that you will get maximum only in private colleges . But there is a total 2 IITs and 1 NIT that will offer you this branch.
So you can opt for these colleges but it would be tough to get as these are the one of the best colleges through jee mains and advanced. The score in jee mains that you need to achieve should be atleast 230+ to get NIT Warangal and in JEE Advanced your rank should be within 1000-1500.
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great. According to NIRF 2020 and India Today 2020, NIT Srinagar is ranked 201 for BTech and 39 for BTech, respectively, while NIT Manipur is ranked 158th for BTech. Its campus spans more than 300 acres. It has 70 faculty members, the majority of whom are PhD holders and highly qualified. At NIT Srinagar, there are 80% chances for placement in the fields of electronics and communication engineering. Nearly six LPA is offered as the average salary package. If they are chosen for placements on campus, it is a good opportunity for students.
ALL THE BEST
