NIT Nagaland Admission Process

National Institute of Technology Nagaland (NITN) admissions are offered to B.Tech, M.Tech., M.Sc., and Ph.D programmes. Before applying for the NIT Nagaland admissions the candidate should appear in an appropriate entrance examination.

For NIT Nagaland B.Tech admissions, a valid score in JEE Main along with participation in JoSAA counselling is required. NIT Nagaland M.Tech admissions are made through GATE followed by CCMT counselling. NIT Nagaland provides admission to M.Sc. programmes based on JAM score and CCMN counselling. At the doctoral level, NIT Nagaland admission to Ph.D courses is made through merit and personal interview conducted by the NITN.

B.Tech	1. Candidates who have allotted seats through JoSAA/ CSAB counselling must report to NIT Nagaland for document verification.
M.Tech	1. Candidates who have allotted seats through CCMT counselling must report to NIT Nagaland for document verification. Non-GATE Candidates 1. Fill out the NIT Nagaland M.Tech application form from the official website. 2. Pay NIT Nagaland M.Tech application fees of Rs. 500/- (for General and OBC) and Rs. 300/- (for SC and ST) and submit the form.
M.Sc	1. Candidates who have allotted seats through CCMN counselling must report to NIT Nagaland for document verification. Non-JAM Candidates 1. Fill out the NIT Nagaland M.Sc application form from the official website. 2. Pay NIT Nagaland M.Sc application fees of Rs. 300 for General and OBC (No application fee is required in case of ST/SC).

Quality of teaching is good but due to pandemic (COVID-19)I have only attended online lec yet so can't review about this. But even in online mode teachers share enough resources and try their best to teach well.

See, if you consider brand value, then the value of National Institute of Technology, Agartala is unmatched. Moreover, the location of Agartala is also much better than that of Nagaland and more companies come for placement in NIT Agartala.

So, in all, if you want secure placement with opportunities in every field, you should go to NIT Agartala at the drop of a hat. But, if you are genuinely interested in ECE, then go for NIT Nagaland.
