Campus is small but it has allt ue required facilties and at a walking distance be it football ground.basketball court cafetariea, gym facilities, dance, music room, library and also hostels are so close to campus that we don't have to rush for classes.
Our hostels are facilitated with Wi-Fi and LAN, which are provided 24*7. The hostel mess strictly follows the menu provided. Fees for the hostel and mess are quite reasonable. The college provides a lot of sports equipment for both indoor and outdoor games, but only one common playground is there for many sports.
A large number of experienced faculty members along with many Ph.D. students are teaching the students. Some of the senior faculty members could even teach more than one subject. Exams are conducted very strictly according to the academic calendar and investigators always have an eye on the students during exams. So, no malpractice is followed in this college.
There is a big increase in placements in recent years. The highest and the lowest salary package was 10 LPA and 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are ONGC, IOCL, NTPC, BPCL, TATA, etc. Around 30% of students got internships in Facebook, Aditya Birla Group, Wipro, etc
Yes value for money.
The campus life is also very good, seniors are very helpful and they also help in anything whether it is related to academics or others.
Labs: There are dedicated labs for each subject, whichever requires experiments. There is 24/7 Wi-Fi available throughout the campus. A central library is in operation that opens at 9 a.m. in the morning and closes at 10 p.m. It contains all sorts of books from magazines, newspapers, etc. In addition to course books, there is an application called M-Library that has over 3,00,000 e-books for the assistance of students. Classrooms are spacious, but the condition is not so good. Hostel facilities: There are 5 boys and 1 girls hostel.
The teachers are really helpful. You can reach out to the faculty anytime you want. The time table is also good. You will have 4 classes per week for a 4 years credit course. The institute also offers minor courses in each department. I'm not very sure about the industrial training. You will have mid and end semester exams in each semester followed by a viva also. They are moderately difficult. Most people fail in Mathematics generally with every branch having their particular difficult subject.
In the years 2022–23, placements for the mechanical and computer science branches were 100% of the eligible students. As for overall placements, they were above 80% of the eligible candidates. The average package for CSE was 14.3 LPA, and the overall package was 8.9 LPA. The highest package was 52 offered by CRED, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Atlassian, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Adobe, J.P. Morgan, etc. The top roles offered were for SDE. About 50% of the students also secured paid internships.
Good placement.
The facilities in our college are very less as it is the smallest campus in total NITs. The infrastructure is just average. But the Wi-Fi facilities are quite good. Wi-Fi signal is available everywhere on our campus. The quality of food is worse for the people from south India.
Faculty are also nice; they are helpful and humble. The curriculum is relevant from the second year onward. It makes the students industry-ready. It is very easy to pass a semester exam. Only 5% of students fail an exam if their performance is very poor in the end-of-year exam.
Placements are very good here. If you are in CSE or ECE branch, then you can think of a guaranteed placement with a high package. The average package of college is around 8-9 LPA for the current session. Internship opportunities are comparatively lesser. Many software IT companies visit for on-campus placements.
Superb college in patna.
The hostel is very good. In the second year, you'll be shifted to a 12-story building in a double B.Ed system. The rooms are fresh and have a balcony view of the Ganga River. The food is also great. There are 6 lifts in that hostel, and the rules are not that strict. You have to be present in the hostel by 10 pm.
Our college has a very strict curriculum and exams for courses. We have good, helpful, qualified and very knowledgeable professors. The teaching quality is quite good. The semester is difficult because of the student's preparation. Teachers are very helpful to students.
The placements were very good; I expect that maybe already eighty (80) percent placements are already done here, and the remaining will also definitely get placed. The average package is also very good, around 6 to 8 LPA, and the highest package is around 52 LPA.
Good college.
Facilities and services provided to students are above average here. Internet facilities, hostel, mess facilities, laundry, electricity and all are in good condition. Mess and hostels are hygienic and safe. There is also a huge gymnasium and sports ground for us.
Faculty are also nice; they are helpful and humble. The curriculum is relevant from the second year onward. It makes the students industry-ready. It is very easy to pass a semester exam. Only 5% of students fail an exam if their performance is very poor in the end-of-year exam.
The placement of the college is really nice and many companies such as Havells Oracle NTPC and Adobe come for campus placements. Average salary revolves around 11 lacs rupees per annum to 20 lacs to 30 lacs per annum. Overall 90% of the students are placed
Good college.
While entering the main gate, you'll encounter with a ground on right hand side and main building in front. All respective department buildings are present in left and right side of main building. Overall infrastructure looks classic but space is very cozy as compared to other institutions.
Personally compare to other engineering institutions , academics are quite well and teachers are keen to deliver knowledge . But students should look forward to gain knowledge . This is unlike school where you're spoon feed everything . It helps in improving self development of students.
Since current scenario is of recession , placement are adversely effected everywhere. NIT Patna also had been through this bad patch. Overall CSE branch has high placement stats along with ECE department .
Amazing college experience , will be remembered throughout life.
nit college infrastructure was good but not bad and only one small ground available in the campus they are not fulfill for student requirement. it is well maintained library and laboratory and hostels are also well maintained
I have done graduation in B.tech civil engineering for this college. in college teachers are really good and help for teach and learn college updated curriculum every year and every semester and faculty is also supportive

overall college is good and ROI is also good
Yes all the facilities are available in my college from the instrument to the desirable equipments are provided to use. When I was a student of NIT Patna, the classroom is good there, labs are also fine and when we talk about our facilities, they provided US explore programs. The living space is good enough.
We have to pass JEE mains exams on the basis of that marks we get the admission. I did my BTech from this college and the college is very excellent the teaching qualities are awesome and the circular which provided to us are updated, the company provide good placement and started from minimum 6 lacs and goes up to 50 lacs.
Almost all the student get placed during their placements and good packages are offered to us, average salary was 12 lac, and minimum is 6 lakhs and highest package was 50 lacs. When we talk about college environment the college faculties are supportive and the students are also good.
The average course fees in NIT Patna near about from 1 to 5 lacs per year. Yes I feel that the money is worthy because of the facilities and the placement, I feel that the college is awesome for studies.
The campus is near NIT Ghat ganga river the best features is the cultural fest and the activities performed by students. The college is safe and the campus is very big, it can handle all the emergencies because the hospitals are near to the institute.
Over all its good enough.
In most cases, leaving a 5-year integrated M.Tech program after the B.Tech portion (usually after 4 years) to pursue an M.Tech elsewhere through GATE is not possible.
Integrated programs are designed as a complete package, with the B.Tech portion leading seamlessly into the M.Tech specialization. Exiting after the B.Tech portion might disrupt the curriculum and might not grant you a standalone B.Tech degree.
Universities often have regulations that don't allow students to exit integrated programs midway.
Carefully review the regulations or brochures related to the 5-year integrated M.Tech program at NIT Patna. Look for sections on program structure, exit options, or award of degrees. Reach out to the admissions office or program coordinator at NIT Patna. They can give you the most accurate information about leaving the program after the B.Tech portion.

I hope it helps!
Hello student,
if you scored 88.5 percentile but you belong from the general category, then it will be tough to get NIT Patna. However, if you belong to reserved category like the ST, then you have a chance to get through.
If you want only NIT Patna and you belong to other categories, then I suggest that you sit for the second attempt in the April session to imrpve your score and increase your chances.
