NIT Patna Admission Process

National Institute of Technology Patna offers admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Sc, M.Plan and PhD. NIT Patna admissions are offered based on the marks scored in the entrance examination. NIT Patna B.Tech admission process is through JEE Main scores and counselling process. JEE Main or NATA scores are accepted for admissions to B.Arch courses of the National Institute of Technology Patna.

National Institute of Technology Patna PG Admission Process

A large number of experienced faculty members along with many Ph.D. students are teaching the students. Some of the senior faculty members could even teach more than one subject. Which college is better for civil engineering nit patna aur nit Silchar

Hello Mihir, diploma student wishing to gain admission in the NIT Patna and any other NIT or such institute shall go about doing it with application based on the Lateral entry scheme available to all who hold a diploma degree in Engineering. Most applications to NIT colleges comprise:

Eligibility : You must have completed your diploma with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized institute. The diploma should be in a field relevant to the engineering course you wish to pursue.
JEE Main : You need to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and qualify the exam. After qualifying, you can apply for the Lateral Entry exam of JEE Main, which is only for diploma holders.
Counseling: You will be called for JoSAA counseling based on your JEE Main score. In the counseling, you can choose your preferred NIT and branch according to your rank.
