Infrastructure is the thing that I do not like about this college. It is not comparable with the other NITS Old hostels have lack of infrastructure but 3 hostels of 14 floor have constructed and they may be alloted in upcoming years.
Academics is decent but the management is the worst management of this college . We have a hectic time table even extra classes are also arranged by some professors.we have to wait for weekend or vacations for other works.
Placements is the only star of this college which attracts eyes of students towards this college both consulting and tech companies visit his college with good offers . If you are good at coding you will get it placement easily otherwise you can apply for consultancy placement
We have to manage life as per circumstances we have to loose something to get something. You can make good friends in college easily and enjoy your college life . You can plan different trips and program with your friends.
Campus Life is good but it would be great if you are allowed to visit whole campus.almost half part of the campus is not allowed for boys .there is a railway line which divides campus in two parts at one side there is faculty accommodation and girls hostel while other side acadmic. Boys are not allowed to go towards girls hostel side.
Overall I am enjoying my college with my friends and sometimes if I think in deep and compare with my friends colleges I think I could have made my life's 4 years good but then I realised the value of a place is from the people living in it.
This college has almost all necessary requirements. Classes are air conditioned some classes are quite big but some classes are quite small for the required strength of students . Food is not too good not too bad here
I AM studying currently in Not Allahabad pursuing b tech from chemical engineering . Here teachers are good and committed in thier subjects. They have quite in depth knowledge about their field . Curriculum here is not so updated but new batches are getting updated curriculum .
Placement here are good , if you do hard work you can easily good package . placement percentage in chemical is most of the times 100 percent but sometimes it is about 90 percent also . The Highest package this year was 60 lakhs
Fees here is as much as in other NIT
Campus Life is not too boring here but also not too exciting also . Here we have culrav and avishkar as main events.
Overall experience is good . It is one of the best NIT college
2-3 years ago the infrastructure of the college was very bad. But now it has improved as continuous renovation is happening and one mega hostel of 13 floors has also build nd it's going to be functional soon. The infrastructure is not at par with other nits and iits but it's decent. All necessary facilities are here. Library and hostels are wifi equipped. Mess food is also good but it depends slightly on mess also. RO plant for purification of water is also established now.
Many professor here are focussed on teaching and they teach good but only few students in the class want to study core subject so others don't pay attention. The level of endsem and midsem papers is also good. You will not find very easy paper it will be of moderate level. Some proff even give gate pyqs in exam . And regarding syllabus is relevant or not for that we know that all nits have same syllabus more or less so yes syllabus is very old but the gate syllabus is also from that only.
MNNIT is known for its excellent placement. This is the only reason students leave other clgs having very good infra for mnnit if they are getting same branches. As of now 2023 placement stats is that this yr (unofficial data) avg package of cse went 26lpa and that of ece and ee both 22lpa.And coding culture is also excellent as despite of the branch every student is learning coding and mastering it.
Since nits has fee wavier depending on ones annual family income so ya fees is less and the roi is very good.
Campus is not very large (222 acre) but it's sufficient to have all facilities and it has all. We have 6-7 canteens and famous one is cafe 96 , yamuna canteen. And campus life is made by your friends not by college so ya we enjoy a lot with friends on campus.
The infrastructure of our college is really cool. The campus area and the cleanliness is well maintained with proper hygiene. The hostel and mess facilities are more or less good. The gym and sports facilities is really well here
Currently studying in btech second year in electrical engineering. Also learning c++ and DSA from some online sites to get a good placements in it sector to get a good salary package. I am also learning graphic designing side by side.
The quality of placements in my college is really awesome. There is very good placement scenario. Almost 100% placement ratio in cs department and 95% placement in electrical engineering department .The average salary package of 7-8lpa in electrical department.
My course cost approx 2 lakh per year including tution fee, hostel and mess fee along with other facilities provided by the college including sports. Yes I feel that spending such amount is worth it for this college by reviewing the college environment and placements scenarios.
The college campus of mnnit is just awesome. There are a lot of college activities in which the students get engaged like there are a lot of committees and sports club for the our development. The students and teachers support is good here. It's location is totally safe for everyone. Yes it can handle the emergencies.
The college life in mnnit is just awesome And the placement are really great.
MNNITA have 8 boys hostels and 2 girls hostels. Swami Vivekananda boys hostel is given for first year B-tech students and Tilak, Patel, Tandon ,and Tagore hostel are given for second year B-tech students according to their CPI in their first Year. It has around 222 acres campus. MNNITA have a Library, Gym ,basketball ground, Badminton ground and it has a Wifi and Lan connections in all the hostels and speed of the Wifi is also very good.
MNNIT have a very good academics and well designed curriculum but it has a hectic schedule or time table. Apart from B-tech course it have several other courses like M-tech ,MCA,MSC,MBA and PHD. Our seniors also teach web development and app development on weekends. we have a separate academic complex where the classes are conducted and for CSE students it has a different building for conducting the classes.
MNNIT is all known for their Placements. The average CTC of all the 2021 B-tech students is around 17 lakhs per Annum. The average and highest package of CSE department is 25.89 LPA and 1.18 Cr CTC. For ECE it's around 19 LPA and 57.5 LPA. For Electrical it's around 13.03 LPA and 54 LPA respectively. The placement percentage of 2021 B-tech students is more than 96%.
I am satisfied with the college and it is value for money. The fees of the college is around 8 lakhs for B-tech students and if you belong to SC and ST category then you can also get 100% tuition fees waivor. so it is value for money.
Various Technical, cultural and other fests are organised through the year. Swagat is organised for first year students. Avishkar is our Technical fest and Culrav is a cultural fest and various coding events are also organised throughout the year. Recently our college organiosed the global alumni convention named GAC where we got chance to meet our alumni and MNNIT have a very good Alumni network so I can say College life is very good.
I am satisfied with this college and its placement.
Have good infrastructure. Proper sports equipment. And two field for outdoor sports. A multipurpose Hall where all Function of college is held like sawagat, avishkar, convocation etc. But hostel condition is not so good, they are very old and in bad shape and new hostel construction is going on. Overall its pretty much satisfactory in infrastructure.
I am pursuing B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering because it's placement is better than most of the college. The quality of teaching is prety much effective and it's have a proper well maintained lab for practicals. In our current curriculum it's include all basic and advance form of electronics and communication devices. I am pretty much pleased by studying this course
In term of placement it is number one nit. The highest CTC package of this year was 48 lakh of CSE branch.ECE branch ranked 3rd in terms of placement. It's average package is 12 lakh per annum. The percentage of students placed is pretty high above 90%. The placement cell of college is very supportive and help students at placement time.
The fees is very much high. The fee of one semester is Approx 1 lakh. But college allow fee waiver in terms of family income. Like for Family income between 1-5 the semester fee is 60k, and for income less than 1 lakh is 40k, and for above 5 lakh income it is like 90k. The money spend on fee is worthful as you get some placed with excellent package specially for CSE and IT.
The campus life is very exciting and hard working. Class start from 9 am even in winters and continue till 6 pm in evening. Only one hour break is given for lunch. But it's not regular as some of classes are of for your batch. The Classes are only from Monday to Friday. It's holiday on Saturday and Sunday. Most of Professor of college are strict and supportive to. It's safe for all student. Hostels have various equipment for tackling emergency situations. Overall it's very exciting and Enjoyable.
The food is quite hygienic and very above the normal standards with all of its variety in the mess and canteens. The spaces are cleaned daily including our rooms, hostels, classrooms and everywhere else. The laboratories are well equipped with ACs but the computer labs generally have malfunctioning computers and sometimes we have a hard time solving our assignments in the labs. Sports centres are very gender biased as boys SAC has more facilities that girls SAC.
Quality of teaching is quite good. But the curriculum is quite old and needs refurbishment. It doesn't incorporate the company requirements and the students have to study separately for that. So, only in some subjects like OS, DBMS, Java, the curriculum makes us job ready, but not in the case of competitive coding and machine learning, which is the need of the day for students like us.
Placements is something for which our college is well known for. It had the highest package of 45 lakhs this year and it went to Computer Science and Engineering and IT branches. Average salary was 21 lpa a few months ago. The process is quite pleasant and smooth for all of us and the college is very supportive in the same.
Yes, given all the facilities in hostel i.e. 4 times mess meal, 24x7 water supply and wifi, daily room cleaning facility by cleaning staff, well equipped and air conditioned library and classrooms and laboratories as well. So, the money is worth all of it.
The campus life is very gender-biased. Girls have a hostel in time of 9:30 pm while the boys are free to roam around all night and even go outside the campus. Due to this, girls are unable to take part in activities like stargazing organized by the college itself and are unable to contribute equally to the organization of various events.
Overall, the experience at MNNIT is good. Only the problem of gender bias still prevails.
My institute is one of the oldest institutes in the country and so is its infrastructure. This was the only factor that used to pull down my college NIRF rank. Now lots of infrastructure renovation is taking place and the campus looks much prettier than before. We have got a beautiful tunnel passing beneath the railway track which adds to the college beauty. Now three new and fantastic hostels are coming up. Mainly the college campus is judged on the basis of people out there and they are good.
Most of the things related to academics are mostly done independently by the students. I think this is the trend in most of the institutes of the country. So one should not worry about it. It is something that we manage to get through with little struggle in the last hours. See if one can get through JEE then dealing with the college academics should not a big deal for such students.
This is the only thing we are famous for among all the top engineering colleges in the country. A guy would prefer to opt for CSE in MNNIT than to go with some mechanical or civil in IITs. So yeah, it's fabulous and I guess we are ranked second probably in terms of the placements.
Earlier the college fee used to be much less than what it is now. I am satisfied with the facilities provided to us in the first year of our college life but afterwards, space keeps reducing for us which was due to less number of hostels, now in coming years this problem will be easily dealt with as three huge hostels buildings are coming up and they are almost ready as of now.
I really love the kind of friends we make on the campus and the variety of talents we meet there. Roaming around on the campus has been my favourite thing to do. Everyone will love that for sure and it's quite hard to write and explain all that stuff. Everyone in the college gets familiar with a few new interesting activities just like JPL. Lots of feelings are attached to this campus life and I am badly missing it here at my home. College life is just amazing. I can't put that in words.
First year hostel is great. Two new fourteen floor hostels are in construction. Mess food is great and is mess is well hygienic. Library is not too large but have sufficient space. Sports ground are not well maintained
They have a strict academics. Curriculum is similar to most of the engineering colleges of the country. From second year, classes are held almost 30-32 hours a week. They have absolute marking scheme.
One of the best NIT in terms of placements. Almost 100 percentage of students gets placed every year. Highest package was 50 lakh. CS IT and ECE have great placement stats. There are ample internship opportunities for students.
Seniors are great
Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, have all the necessary stuffs for classrooms like, projectors, Wi-Fi, comfortable chairs, etc. and for College we have all the fundamental infrastructure such as library, theatre, gathering corridor, football grounds and other fields as well.
I'm student of Master of Business Administration, I can reveal to you that they Centre more around common sense information than hypothesis and the nature of instructing is much more prevalent than some other schools.
Placement of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology is fascinating, the average placement is around 95% and up to 21Lakhs. You will get proper trainings like Group Discussions, Personal Interview, Aptitude Test and Psychometric Tests.
The course cost per year is approx. Rs.100000. For poor students our institute provides the facility of scholarship. For scholarship the student should have to fill a form and submit required documents with income certificate.
Grounds life here in MNNIT is unquestionably stunning. You will discover delightful blossoms wherever in the grounds. Here we have cafeteria for each office. Here we get openness of sports, music, dance, fine arts and proficient and interesting stuffs.

Hello,
For admission to NIT Allahabad (now known as MNNIT Allahabad) in the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch, a score of 150 marks in JEE Mains 2025 might not be sufficient, especially for SC category candidates.
It has also been seen that the cutoff for NITs, especially popular branches like ECE, tends to be in the range of 200 to 250 marks for general candidates and even lower in some cases for reserved category candidates. However, it is safe to assume that the fluctuations in the cutoffs may occur due to the overall performance of the candidates, applicants, and the specific policy at their time.
It's advisable to aim for a score above 160-180 marks to enhance your chances. For the most accurate predictions, you can keep an eye on trends from the previous year’s cutoffs and official NIT announcements closer to the admission period.
For more information, refer to official sources like the JoSAA website for updated cutoff trends.
Hy,
Choosing between MNNIT Allahabad (Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology) for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and NIT Warangal (National Institute of Technology) for Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) involves evaluating several factors. Here’s a detailed comparison to help you make an informed decision:
